I bought batteries for a skooter and was told that if there was a problem, bring them back and we will exchange them. My luck, there was a problem with them not lasting very long at all. A week later i took them back, and the employee said we can recharge them and test. Not what the original employee told me. What irritated me was he just kept going over and over about how it most likely was the skooter, not the batteries. I left the batteries with them. They checked and called a few days later saying the batteries were fine. I took them home and wasn't able to install them back in the skooter until the next weekend. When i did, the skooter showed very little signs of life. I called and explained that we just had them checked the previous week and now they had no power at all after just sitting for a week. The employee wouldnt listen to me about how they just sat on a shelf for the previous week and once again blamed the skooter. I took them back today and can see that they must be trained on not listening and just blaming the equipment because over and over again, I heard, the skooter must be the problem not the batteries. We know batteries We're not mechanics. I agree that the batteries showed 13 volts but they didn't do a load test. I have a lot of mechanical experience and know something about batteries. A battery can show voltage to be good when checked with a volt meter but can fall on its face when under a load. But I assume these guys don't expect the normal customer to know that. Anyways, he also didn't listen to me about how the batteries that were 6 years old lasted longer than the brand new batteries I spent 90 bucks on, and was right back to its the skooter. He reluctantly exchanged the batteries for different ones. I took them home feeling very dissapointed in every aspect of how I was treated with batteries plus Gresham. I installed the second set of batteries and vroom power was back like it should be. I thought about calling them to let them know that these batteries are working fine. But the attitude of the people there, made me come here instead to warn others of the way I was treated. I might try a different batteries plus out, if I'm in need of a unusual battery, but I won't be going back to my...
Read moreWent in because my note 4 was acting up. So I thought I would buy a battery I was in line and a guy just came up got in front of me and the cashier started to help him. Finally I bought the battery left and realized it was not the battery problem. Took the battery back and was telling the guy my problem about my phone (Cus their sign says we fix phones) he rudely interupted me and said wheres your card on file.
I gave him the card completed the return and asked him where my battery was? He blew his breath and walked to the back fast as if he was irratated. ( The guy had long shaggy hair kinda older.) He brought out a cannister which had a couple of other batteries. And said, "I dont know which one it is". took them out tossed the can on the ground. And tossed the batteries on the counter. As if I was wasting his time. He then yelled back and asked which one was it too a hispanic guy and sarcasim said," its the one with the tape on it". They were all taped. And then the hispanic guy came out and said, "its the broke one" I said, "it wasnt broke when I brought it here" and he said," yea, it broke when I was taping it". I said is it still gonna work. And the long hair guy said just take both of them they dont work anyway and stormed off. I raised my voice and said, "it wasnt a battery problem it was a operating problem like I was trying to explain". Looked at the batteries and took them. As I walked out said great customer service guys. And the hispanic guy said have a great day sir. And another chubby guy laughed. My reply was, yep. Mean while while all this was happening I was holding my 2 year old son while he was sleeping.
I voted for minimum wage increase but people like those three guys dont deserve unemployment. Whatever there problem is shouldnt be mine. I would give less stars if i could but im sure other battery plus franchise operate differently.
BUT IF I WAS THEIR BOSS THEY...
Read moreI purchased a battery from this place because they explained to me they have the best warranty in the business. I was assured that if there was something wrong with my battery to come in and swap it out as long as it was still under warranty .They preached about the warranty in and out .So I was pretty happy at the time of purchase .A couple months later my battery will not hold a charge and will not charge at all my car will not start unless I jump start it . So I decided to make sure it was still under warranty and to my luck it was. I drove down to the store hoping they would have me in and out in now time . Turns out I will have to miss work tonight because now I have no battery for 24 hours while they run there test on the battery to make sure I'm not just making stuff up. They also tested the voltage on the battery after it had been sitting on a charger for 48 hours already. And checked by AutoZone .
So needles to say unless they somehow make this right I will be purchasing my battery's from Les swchwab or even Walmart for that matter .even they have better customer service
So it's been 2 months later and the battery is giving me the same exact problem. I went a bought a tender timer battery charger and it's been sitting all winter. I took it in to get tested again and now they are saying that the battery cannot hold a charge which is what it was doing last time. But not they will not honor my warranty I went in to get my battery and ask them to tell me to my face they won't exchange it or put it in writing that they won't exchange it and no one would do it. They just kept saying there is nothing they...
