Today I tried lunch here with my family and the first waiter was very nice and had great customer service but the main waitress made it to where I will never come back here again. Because there are no combination meals, we took longer to order, but we are also a big group as well. They kept coming up to us and asking if we were ready, and when we said we wernt the waitresses would go back to where they stand and stare at us. We were finally ready, and had to wait to get our order taken which is completely fine since we took so long to begin with. But what got me was when I ordered my meal, she asked if I would like anything else? I didn’t quite understand because I have never been here before and it seemed as if you just said the entree and that’s it, so I asked her what else there was to order with it and she said, “no I mean are you done? Is there anything else to order? And kind of waves her hand showing she meant the whole table. So I said of course we are all ordering sorry it’s my first time here and I don’t understand everything. She continues to argue and goes through how she takes the order and says it’s simple so anything else? Of course I am going to get upset and start getting rude. She brings my plate last (a few minutes after everyone else’s was brought out) and doesn’t even care to explain that they are waiting on 1 plate. What really topped off the bad customer service is how she gave me a dirty look the whole time I was leaving the building and walks behind me to get to another waitress to say something in there language. I’m sorry but I know your talking about me when they look over at me, very rude and unwelcoming. Food was excellent but customer service was the WORST I’ve ever...
Read moreThis has to be either the most underrated restaurant or in an odd location to not draw a bigger crowd. It is a bit hidden and the sign on the outside has faded in the sun for quite a bit. Right next to the dentist.
Anyways, it was speedy to get a table even at prime eating time. There was only a small handful of people. The place was nearly empty. The restaurant is clean but doesn't quite give off that authentic Chinese experience. Maybe some red paint and ornamental pillars.
While the serve was a bit unenthusiastic, the food was fantastic. Not only do you get a decent portion for the money, you'll get complimentary tea served in a kettle when sitting. I do love tea and this was quite nice, even unsweetened which is my style.
The food, a bowl of plain white rice comes with every meal. You are served on a separate plate than the one in front of you which is perfect for sharing and trying others dishes. With four dishes, the four of us still came home with leftovers. It is amazing how much a tiny takeout box holds. Everything tasted superb and came out well cooked. The broccoli and a nice crunch but tasted like it was steamed at the same time. The beef in garlic sauce I think was the best. But I also enjoyed the kung pao chicken.
The odd location of this restaurant leads it to be a nice quite place to enjoy a meal with others company. Complimentary tea and rice will be served with your meal. The food was up there in my quest for great Chinese; better than Safeway. Waiter didn't seem too upbeat but I wouldn't either with such a dead restaurant. Highly recommended for a not too expensive sit down restaurant...
Read moreSo super happy we came in here tonight! We were on our way to Panda and saw this place that we had never noticed before. I ordered the special which was mango chicken. Hubs ordered the cashew chicken. We got spring roll appetizers.
The restaraunt is very clean. The dining area is light and feels spacious. The decor is simple and understated.
The service was on point. I don't want to list ever detail but this was probably one of the best table services I've experienced. It is something I think gets overlooked normally but these ladies were so deft in their table service it elevated the whole experience.
Spring rolls were great. The sauces were great. The mango chicken was a bit too sweet, it needed something savory to balance it out. The cashew chicken though was phenomenal. We were both completely blown away by how good it was. The chicken is fried, crispy without being crunchy, tender without being chewy and seasoned so perfectly. Really we will come back here again and again and we will get the cashew chicken every time. I'm gonna try everything else on the menu, but I'm not leaving without some of that cashew chicken. Even the orange wedges and fortune cookies at the end of the meal were yummy.
TL;DR Food amazing, service amazing,...
