My husband and I have been faithful to BH46 since they opened. We were excited for a local, family owned restaurant to move into GP. We loved their breakfast sandwiches, particularly the Big Baker and Brekkie. What kept us coming back was the thick cuts of bacon, real ham, real cheddar cheese, fresh eggs and homemade scallion cream cheese; all of it was delish. Unfortunately today when we went, the manager Vince told us they removed the Big Baker from the menu and have changed their bacon; my husband ordered the Bacon Brekkie which upon receiving the sandwiches, the bacon is equivalent to fast food, super thin, McDonald’s quality. I ordered my Brekkie with sausage instead, and come to find out, it’s not real sausage meat at all. It’s Beyond brand which is chemically filled, GMO, and highly processed fake meat. Disgusted and incredibly disappointed. Needless to say we will not be going back again. Oh and they kept the prices the exact same even though the quality and quantity of meat has changed. Disappointed by yet another “local” place becoming a “fast food chain-like quality.” If I wanted cheap and poor quality, I would go to a McDonald’s and pay the $5 for their...
Read moreI’m always excited to try a new bakery. However, I have to say today was a one and done experience at this place. First impressions can make you return, but wasn’t too impressed with the person on the counter who couldn’t even crack a smile to make you feel welcomed. I ordered the avocado toast. I’m assuming that toast means the bread is toasted? Well, this slice looked like it just came out of some bag. It definitely was not toasted. It had this lame smear of avocado paste on it that really didn’t have much taste. It was spread so thin that I had to think, are they serious? Is this a joke? Then, she just threw on top two cut up slices from a Roma tomato. This was the most unimpressive avocado toast that I’ve ever had that certainly was not worth price. It just did not measure up. It just looked so pitiful when I opened the container. Hard to believe this is their standard. Next time I’ll just...
Read moreTried then twice. The 1st time was great. The second time, the cashier had in a glove while ringing up my order. Touched the screen with the glove, and grabbed my doughnuts with the same glove. I brought it to her attention and she said" so do you want another doughnut or what?" So I said no, left out, and tossed them in the trash. I didn't want anything with that kind of attitude. She should have offered fresh ones. After touching money, glove or no glove, your hands should be washed first. I wanted to live this place, they have really good treats. I also deserve food that is not touched with the same glove that touches the register screen. Besides that, this seems to be a...
