I dined in at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for the first time ever last Saturday right before closing. We had just drove 6 hours from GA and wanted something fast and tasty to eat. My brother in law advised that the chicken was like a cross between Chickfila and Zaxby’s and a friend of mine told me beforehand that I should try the food. I am so glad that I was able to try it, while in town. The inside had a touristy feel with memorabilia and signage around the inside and a large sign to pose in front of. Despite of it almost being closing time, the staff was so friendly, and the food was made to order. The menu was simple with chicken tender plate options and a sandwich option. My husband and I split the 6-finger plate with double fries and Texas toast. We had lemonade with the dinner, and it was sweet but not too sugary. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. It had the perfect batter to chicken breast ratio. It was not too salty like chicken from Zaxby’s or other chicken places that I have tried. The crinkle cut fries were skinnier than I’ve seen at other places, but good to say the least. My only wish would have been for more in the box since we replaced our coleslaw for fries. The toast was also good! The bread was not greasy or salty but had a good taste. Overall, I recommend Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers if you are around. It was good and affordable. I wish we had one in GA with...
Read moreI love Canes and food was good what I was able to eat. I ate part of a chicken finger and started getting sick to my stomach. I tried to finish it but I had to stop. I was afraid I was going to throw up in the restaurant. I got up went to the restroom and had diarrhea but didn't throw up. Just stayed very nauseated. I couldn't eat any more. I wasn't sick when I went in and once I went to the restroom I was fine. I have never experienced this before and I eat Canes a lot. First time at this particular Canes though. I just moved here. I don't know if it was coincidence or what but my girlfriend said I was the 3rd person that told her that happened to them when they ate there at the same Canes. I have no complaints against them everything was great service, food was just as good as other Canes, and it was very clean. I just got sick. And after I got it out of my system I wasn't sick the rest of the day. I was able to shop until late that night...
Read moreI love raising canes, but will not be going to this one anymore. The past 3 times I have gone here and got the caniac meal, the chicken has been very very small and I get fewer and fewer fries each time I go. The chicken is so small it's almost like it's mainly batter, so with that being said it gets way to crunchy hard. When I used to go here a year ago if there was small pieces they would give you extra for each small piece so you get your money worth. Now they give you all small pieces and just barely a handful of fries. The other one I go to it much better than this, their chicken is bigger and you get a lot bigger portion of fries. Like to get some of my money worth, since they are expensive as is... They better step it up and give people their money worth, or they are going to start losing customers and their rating is...
