Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Gurnee

WORST customer service by a manager! We placed an order at 5:20p thru grubhub yesterday & the est delivery time was 6:05p-6:15p. At 6:20p I called Rosatis directly as they do their own delivery service, the manager you can tell was flustered & busy as this is during the peak of rush hour traffic & dinner time. I asked about my order since it was 5 minutes past delivery time. I was told very rudely that "we go by our times not grubhubs, i dont know what they told you. Your order just went out with our driver" Again note the time 6:20p. Now setting aside the issue of delivery time differences between GH & the actual restaurant, I was willing to give Rosatis the benefit of doubt. At 6:50p I called back & got the same manager. He cut me off & said "ya you're the GH lady right..... Well my delivery guy ran out of gas, so I sent a 2nd guy to help him & then he locked himself out of his car". When i tried to speak he cut me off again, so now i was feeling feisty! Look I get its rush hour/peak dinner time/ I get that your restaurant & GH may have a discrepancy of delivery window times; but it's been 30mins since we last spoke & you said my delivery guy was on the way. 1) had i not called just now 6:50p would I have received a call from you? You're first mistake was being rude to me on my first call, your second was not making sure that your staff (this delivery guy) was prepared for work (IE had gas in his car), your third mistake was not calling me the customer IMMEDIATELY after learning my delivery guy ran out of gas - and on that call offering to remake my order so it's fresh/hot & sending it out ASAP with a new driver, along with a freebie/major coupons for our next order. Your fourth mistake was NOT listening to me your customer, and then telling me you're offering to remake my food now &send it out (which hello would take at least another 30mins) which is gonna be two hours after I ordered the food in the first place. I spoke with GH about cancelling and refunding my order, which they did!:) And I assured the Roasatis manager NOBODY in my household will ever order from their location again! ...The really sad part, is we've ordered from here dozens of times and never had any problems & the food is...

Well, first there was an issue. The online ordering was a little confusing. So I'm warning you. When you pick your pizza, a menu will open with sauce and cheese selected with the word extra and a question mark next to it. I thought it was ASKING me if I wanted extra. I didn't want extra cheese but I did want extra sauce so I deselected extra cheese. So my pizza came without cheese!!! Oh no!! So I immediately called. The manager immediately sent me a new one. I went and looked and figured out the mistake. If you want extra cheese you have to add it in the extra ? , Don't deselect it or you get none. In my case no cheese. Anyway they sent me a new pizza do to the confusion. The fantastic news is the food was fantastic. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. Not overcooked or dry, but perfect and juicy. The chicken tenders were awesome. The bbq beef was super tasty but messy. The kinda messy you miss when it's gone. The fries and onion rings were hot and good. The pizza bread was soft hot and delicious. Now, some amazing news, the pizza without cheese was pretty good. If you want pizza without cheese, I would suggest you get extra sauce so it's not sort of dry. But it was still pretty good. Maybe I would consider it again if someone had a cheese allergy. But the pizza that showed up with the cheese was pizza heaven. Fantastic job. Way better than other Rosatis in the area. Awesome, awesome. I hope this is the quality I get next time. There will be a next time very soon. This was the first time we tried this Rosatis. And they were awesome!!!!! Did I mention the chicken was fresh and juicy!!!!!! I want more even as I write...

Hello there had to write a review which I almost never do this but this family restaurant was indeed this bad today they always been a little rude From previous experiences but today took the cake brought my whole family there from the start. Immediately taking the order didn't feel like he wanted to take my order when getting my salad he brought it to me super rude and un friendly brought me some weird looking ranch sauce that was super warm . Asked him if they carry cold ranch sauce he said no even though he grab it out of the Fridge weird. Was telling my wife and my sister that they're acting funny towards me so my whole family receive their pizza which takes long to make before a eggplant parmesan dinner so something was up! Finally the same gentleman that brought me my salad brought me the egg plant dinner so it just looked like a Lot of cheese on top of noodles so I Peeled back the cheese and seen the egg plant it was burnt beyond belief. I hit the 8 plant with a spoon and heard a loud sound from how burnt it was took it back they didn't even ask any questions like the knew and gave me $12 back instead of my $11 and something cents bad place to...
