Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Hagerstown

Waited 30 minutes past the time the red light came on, after already leaving and coming back once. Even when the donuts were done and they knew I was waiting everyone was clueless. I then stood at the register for another 5 minutes while they all looked around at eachother. Then I asked for milk and without even looking they said they were out. The girl at the register used her shirt to wipe thing off and as the male rubbed his hands together to get the glaze off. Crazy experience. Horrible.

Edit. Went back a few days later to see if they could redeem. When I got in donuts were falling in the trash can. With one person ahead of him. With me staring at it someone finally noticed and two of them started packing everything in boxes. The person in front of me got a dozen. Then another employee scooped an online pickup, taking the rest of the donuts. They said more would be coming soon. That online order arrived, and another taking all the rest of those donuts. I waited another half an hour today to get the donuts when half were wasted and the other half were delegated to people who would have ordered after me. This place is never getting my business again. No milk again today either btw. They were also beyond full...

I love a fresh glazed "Doughnut" from Krispy Kreme. Unfortunately, they're not often to be found at this location. Same with their coffee. As again, the coffee is often horrible. Maybe they get their act together later in the day, but I've been a weekend-early-morning customer and have had a number of bad experiences.

The latest, I just found out, is that the fresh donuts aren't even scheduled until after 7 AM now, instead of the previous 6 AM time. (A goal that they couldn't consistently reach.) And on the particular morning I found this out? They said that they were having trouble with the machine, so the donuts still wouldn't be ready until some undetermined time after 7 AM. Of course.

My opinion is that they chose a less than ideal location for this unit, and they just can't maintain the standards of a good Krispy Kreme and make a profit at the same time, so they feel they have no choice but to cut corners. It would be great to see a Krispy Kreme in one of the new areas being developed further to the east, where such a store could possibly thrive. But for now,...

If I could add more than 5 stars, I would. After the Hagerstown fireworks ended, we rushed over to get donuts, but as luck would have it we got stuck in traffic. I called KK at 10:09pm and found out the store had closed at 10pm. We explained to Brandon, whom answered the phone, how we were stuck in traffic and all we wanted the whole time watching fireworks were KK donuts. Don’t you know Brandon said absolutely we will sell you a dozen of donuts. What are you driving and how soon will you be here. I told him we were turning into the parking lot right now. We were graciously greeted at the door and all four of us walked into the store and were able to purchase a dozen of delicious KK donuts. Please know KK, because of Brandon’s above and beyond customer service, I and my family will be lifetime customers/fans of the Dual Highway KK!!!! We ❤️ KK 🍩s!!!!! Thank you for reminding me there still is great customer service provided and we found it at Krispy Kreme...
