Boot Barn — Local services in Halfway

Has a great boot selection but will not return to this location. After taking time picking out my boots, I waited at the register. After about 5 minutes the lady walked by and said she would be with me in a moment. No problem there she's busy. Waited some time and another gentlemen waited by me saying "she was here this morning what happened?" I explained that she was busy but acknowledged that I was here. We both waited discussing the boots I picked out. She passed by again and said she would be right with me. Again, not pressed as she is obviously busy. The guys wife comes back with a different associated and they proceed to check out a pair of socks. Then the lady that had been speaking to me finally comes to the register and calls a person behind both me and where the other gentleman was to check out. I am right there up front with a set of $200+ boots and both cashiers completely ignore me with no type of explanation. For a moment I stood astounded. The gentleman said loud enough for both of them to hear "you were here first and been waiting haven't you?" Neither associate even acknowledged. I said back "yea but I'll just get my boots somewhere else" and walked out. Maybe I don't look like a cowboy or whatever type of person this store wants to service and that's fine. I went to another store and bought two pairs of boots afterwards and now they will have my business. I get reimbursed from the company I work for and you lost what would have been a...

My 2nd visit to this location and both visits were very overwhelming because I was shopping for shirts for my groomsmen in my wedding party. But the store manager who I can't remember her name, stopped doing what she was doing to help me find the right shirt so that all my groomsmen would have shirts that fit. Also they were helpful in getting my daughter her 1st pair of ariat boots. The staff here is very friendly and helpful and the manager is very top notch and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely continue to be a returning customer. And word of advice for anyone going here for the first time, the selection is like no other and there are plenty of options and lines of boots and clothing to choose from and staff that are more than willing and ready to assist you with...

I had a wonderful experience at this Boot Barn recently. I had to bring my kids in to get boots suitable for both riding and for mucking stalls as well as doing other work on the farm. The woman who helped us (I'm sorry that I don't remember her name!) was phenomenal! She sized both the kids and made some great recommendations. She was very patient with both kids begging for her attention to help them find boots that they would like and fit into. She was very knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and polite. I will definitely seek her out the next time...
