Employees are courteous when you walk in and the product quality is great but I do have an issue with the inventory system tractor supply uses. This is the second time the website said something was in stock and it actually wasn't. The website even went as far as to let me purchase it online for curbside pick-up. I ordered a new belt and blade for my lawn mower and when I got there the belt was there and a completely different set of blades that cost more than the ones I ordered were there. Of course I was expected to pay the difference even though I was the one being inconvenienced. The reasons I got from the staff was "their system isn't always accurate and up-to-date" which I find unacceptable. Coming from a supply chain management background I know that shouldn't be the case. I have had so many HORRIBLE experiences with tractor supply. Whether it be holes in feed bags, rude customers, rude workers, discrimination, or a low stock supply with not many options almost all of my TSC in counters and shopping trips have been awful. So with that being said I want to give a huge thank you to one individual worker, Jacob. He is always kind and goes out of his way to approach us during our shopping trip, he asks if we need anything and is always very kind and friendly to our dog. We have an Akita who can sometimes get very excited and jumps up to give you a hug and say hello, we are working on training, but I want to commend Jacob because he is so patient with her and even lets her jump up and hug him! I grew up in the area, and have been coming to this store for years, I’ve always had good experiences with the employees. Recently I purchased a trailer, the manager there, Mike was a huge help. He referred me to a local tag and title office nearby. I had a great experience there so the recommendation was appreciated. After returning with my trailer tags, Mike put them on for me in the freezing rain and he hooked up the trailer for me. I didn’t have to do anything. While he didn’t have to do this, it was greatly appreciated and speaks in volume for his dedication to customer service. He was very knowledgeable with all aspects of the purchase.
