I usually don’t post reviews but I really needed to for this one. Just picked up a sandwich for my husband, I put in an online order and requested no mushrooms, or caramelized onions or caramelized green peppers. I understand people have off days and get busy so some things can get missed… I checked the sandwich upon getting into my car and it had everything that was requested off. I wasn’t upset about it, figured it got overlooked. I ran back inside and told the girl that my husband was allergic to the onions and mushrooms and can’t have the sandwich. I apologized because I understand it’s an inconvenience to remake things; However, the girl then tells me that she saw the requests to not have the ingredients on it but told me that they assume people put those as a mistake and decided to throw it all on anyway, then started talking to another customer. Thankfully I check things before I leave because if my husband took a bite of that without realizing we would have had a very large issue. The girl remade my sandwich but felt like she had an attitude about it (could have been having a bad day and my remake didn’t make it any better I’m sure) but she didn’t try to smooth it over or anything of the sort. She didn’t even seem apologetic at all. I don’t think she realizes the severity of it if he were to have eaten this. I left feeling like I was the one who made the mistake for the sandwich. Read moreHI! I googled "philly cheese steaks near me". Firehouse came up, with a blurb that speaks so highly about their cheesesteak being of uniqueness. The customer service was good, but it was the sandwich that made me clutch my pearls. This was my maybe my 2nd time there in probably 10 years as I've been living in another city (up north).. and have been bought back to the area due to covid-19. I don't crave Phillies much, but when I do... I expect it to make me be infatuated with it! First off, I got it inside of a carton... that was the first sign.. lol... I asked myself, "how does a steak and cheese FIT inside of a carton (insert thinking emoji). I knew I was headed down the wrong road. I finally opened it up and it was this baby sandwich adorned with a different sort of bread I wasn't used to, and minimal meat. I don't why I do this to myself every time, but I will get food and walk right out without checking, because I want to walk away trusting the service. I ordered my food online and when i got there and looked at my food it was absolutely nothing on it but meat and peppers. I hate peppers so online it said nothing about cherry peppers otherwise i wouldve requested to be taken off.i went up to the counter and told the cashier and she got the manager.she comes out of the office immediately with an attitide.i can see it all over her face.she approaches me rude and unlively.i tell her whats going on and she just so blah and doesn't care but makes it again.i literally almost asked for my money back because i was afraid she would spit in my sandwich or do something to it because pf the demeanor she gave off.
