I usually give Wendy's 5 stars but this place was particularly slow, they had no machines to order yourself that are slower that a person even when there is no line waiting in front of me...first time using the machine and asked for help to be told we are in the middle of a shift change so I figured it out myself by the time someone was ready to help at the machine or the register. Additionally, an older lady came in causing a scene about wanting to use the register and a person because she doesn't know how to use machines. I mean, she was a little rude and entitled since it's the 21st century, but hey, she had a point. Someone should have just taken her order. The part that irked me was when someone took her order and the next guys order...the lady waiting for her food from the machine order in front of me as well as myself were still waiting for our food whole the two people behind us that ordered at the register already got their food...if you use the technology, shouldn't it be faster? Not slower? Gave me zero incentive to order automated when choosing a person at the register is easier for me to have them plug it in and I'm rewarded for that with faster food. Three other side notes: 1. Son of Baconator was hard enough to find that I ordered something else I didn't prefer. 2. The faster working person was scooping the fries and nuggets too far ahead of time before the rest of the meal is ready. This caused my fries and nuggets to be cold when I actually got them. 3. Read moreI ordered a combo meal. Instead of a drink I got a frosty. The drive-thru attendant ask me did I want chocolate or strawberry, I said chocolate. I paid for my food, said thank you to the not so friendly cashier, and drove off. I got home, ate my food, the burger and fries were good, frosty was good until I reached the bottom. The bottom was filled with strawberry (unbelievable). I was like, "why is strawberry n the bottom and I specifically asked for chocolate". The only thing that made since to me was they started filling the cup with strawberry and remembered I said chocolate and didn't want to get another cup and decided to put the chocolate over the strawberry in hopes of hiding it.
Four things I thought immediately and they should have thought of as well. 1: I the customer asked for chocolate and that's what I should have received. What if I was allergic to strawberry. What if I had an allergic reaction from it. Why couldn't I had just gotten what I paid and asked for. I know they're busy with so many orders from the drive thru, but sometimes I feel that some workers (not all) feels that it's okay to make a mistake and not correct it because most people won't go all the back to return it anyway. Everyone is on edge these days, because of the pandemic, inflation, gas etc. But remember small things matter too, especially when it can affect your health and life. Just be conscious of others. Read moreNot sure what the problem is with this location but this the 3RD time the restaurant was closed before 4am. On Sunday 11/1/20 the restaurant was closed because the system was being shut down and this was at 1:30 am. Then tonight the driver thru had over 7 cars line no one order is getting taken. I proceed to drive to the window 2 employees at the back door saying hello....smoking cigarettes. Several employees inside at least 5 or more and they can not take orders??? If the hours have changed it needs to be updated on google and the mobile app. If not this needs to be addressed.
Above was my original post that I did not send a few months ago. Now I went to the restaurant @ 1:30am on Wednesday night/ Thursday morning with a mobile order. When I get to the restaurant they are closed again!!! On the website it says this restaurant is open until 4am. I have placed orders on several occasions after 2am so I am unclear of what is going on at this location. The crew person that told me the restaurant was closed was really nice and told me I had to cancel my mobile order to receive a refund, which I did do but that is not the point. If the hours are different it needs to be posted to the website and say on the mobile app...
