It's very clear that this location is not professional at all. This was my second time there. The first time I thought that the reason why I was greeted and properly was because I did not have my ID when I asked for a drink. I completely understand that because every bar must ask for ID. But this was almost a year ago, what this part did not understand was this was the week of my birthday and I decided to come back and get a drink Just Me Myself and i. When I walked up to the bar I noticed that the bartender already gave me a certain look, couldn't understand why. But I proceeded anyways assuming that maybe she's just having a bad day or going through whatever she is going through. I sat on one side of the bar realizing that maybe I was too far from the other people that were ordering on the other side so I decided to cross over so that way I could communicate with the bartender. She still continue to be rude. I don't know if she was having a bad day I just felt like it's not fair that she decided to put this energy on to me. I tried to ask about different drinks and different foods but the whole time she still had an attitude. I still ordered my food and even though I tried to ask for forks and knives she didn't offer me anything but I waited until the end of my meal and by then it was too late. I really did not enjoy my time there. When I went to pay I realized she charged me 18% on top of the meal. When I asked around all the other people that were eating told me that yes she definitely did charge me more than she was supposed to. I low-key feel like this location is possibly favoritism and racism. How in the world am I getting charged 18% tip just because I'm asking questions? The bartender also said that I was talking s* to the other guess that we're eating when in reality I was just asking questions about how long this place has been open for. I was just asking about the history of the location and the vibe and the energy but somehow I got treated as someone who came here to argue and fight. I had every right to yell at the end when the bartender got rude and told me if I could not afford the food then why did I come there to eat! Not realizing that she was talking to a hair stylist who just came from doing her clients hair. I really wanted to ask her if you're not happy why are you even there working. And the fact that I took a picture of the bartender because she wouldn't give me her name! She said she would sue me but how can you sue me when you are a servicer servicing someone who comes to pay you and you're being so extremely rude! I'm pretty sure there are cameras around sue me I'm waiting for it! Because I have my...
Read moreExtremely poor customer service!! When on Sat night to a friend's bday party. It took 40 mins for our 1 order of 10 wings to come only for the order to be wrong but that wasn't even the worst part. I didn't like the drink I ordered. When we brought it to the "bartender" attention & asked for a different drink was told I was going to have to drink it because she put alot of alcohol in it & wasn't giving me another drink so she sent the drink back to me. At this point of disbelief the security guard noticed my frustration & offered to return the drink for me himself & speak with the manager to help but the manager on duty turned out to be the same "bartender". So 45 mins later still no new drink & now the bartender mgr is avoiding us. When we finally get her attention she said "if I wasn't happy with the drink we should have returned the drink & not paid for it". Mind you she had us prepay for the food & drinks so how could we have known beforehand!? Now I just want the money back so we can leave. Manager refused to refund the drink that was returned nor replace it with a different drink, even after security confirmed he brought the drink back himself! Livid at this point that the manger is arguing with me, I told her to at least give the drink we paid for to bday girl since I no longer wanted anything else she made & she still refused to give the money back. Security guard offered to pay for the drink which means she got paid twice! I have never been so disrespected & yelled at by the manager of an establishment. I will NEVER go back! & hope my friends...
Read morePeople love to leave bad reviews. I have been to hammers twice now to play volleyball. I hate taking up space in a restaurant and not spend money. I canât drink as I have gout so that leaves me with eating. Tonight I ordered 16 wings and fries. The servers are swamped and I caught mine while she was taking care of another customer. About two games later she came out and said she had my wings but needed to grab my fries. I donât see her for another 20-30 minutes and I write my food off. Finally I go to get my card and tell her not to worry about it. She looks puzzled. âI ran your food out.â One of your friends said you were still on the court. She walks me over to a table with my cold food on it. The table is about three away from mine. Now I am paying for cold food that is not really edible. Cold fries are never good again. We have all tried to revive them and itâs impossible. I eat about 5-6 wings and she comes back over and says she spoke with the manager and she said âcold food is a risk of playing volleyballâ Not sure I agree with that statement. But she is willing to give me a free drink. Back to my story in the beginning. I said just call it square for trying. The whole point of this is to say itâs rare people tell the story of a bad experience made right. I will definitely come back and try again. We are all human and kudos to someone willing to take blame when they feel they did the...
