Arby's — Restaurant in Haring Township

I went there with a friend who had hyped himself up in anticipation of getting an Arby’s fish sandwich. To give a little perspective on how much he was looking forward to the fish sandwich, he rarely eats out, including fast food, as a matter of fact the last time he ate at a restaurant was with me nearly two years ago. Sadly, the fish sandwich was available only for a limited time and we were 3 days too late. The young lady who waited on us was incredibly patient, polite, helpful and very friendly, which I was very grateful for because I knew how big of a blow it was to him when he was told that the fish is no longer available. He took a solid 5 minutes to find something else to eat and it made him feel special when the clerk asked for his name for the order. We waited less than two minutes before she called out his name with as much enthusiasm and genuine gratitude for being given the honor of serving him. My 65 year old friend was made to feel like he mattered and I couldn’t be happier for the excellent service. I’m a lifelong fan of Arby’s and the food was as delicious as always. I used to work at this location and let me tell you, the employees dont care that your food is messed up. They also dont care how they treat you because nothing will be done about it. I left this store because the nepotism is rampant and I got tired of the way customers were being treated and talked about when they had a complaint. The lady who runs the store has her husband working there doing maintenance but he absolutely has managerial powers. Her son and his girl friend also work there, both as assistant managers. When another assistant manager position opened I asked the manager who she was considering. She told me her son who was getting out of jail would be getting the position. Something needs to be done and higher ups will do nothing so I left. My advice to the citizens of cadillac, dont support this location. Line took forever, service at window was only so, so. Not very friendly, no greeting, no smiles, no thank you etc. Ordered a turkey and cheddar sandwich (dont eat beef) and they would not make it. Every other Arby's is able to make it, especially since it was a menu item about a year ago. All it takes is substituting turkey for beef. I didnt even care if I got charged more but they wouldn't do it. They also failed to add the lettuce we ordered on our daughters sandwich and left the fries out of our other kid meal.
