McDonald's — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

The only reason I am giving a bad review is due to an employee. I order Mcpick 2 for 2.50 which has a double cheeseburger, Mcchicken, 6 piece chicken nugget, and a small fry. I wanted one of each the bill came to 7 dollars. 2.50 plue 2.50 is 5 and change. I looked at receipt and she charged extra for the Mcchicken. I asked her why and she said you ordered 2 double cheeseburger I said no blah blah CALLED the manager order and she had to explain that it was wrong and told her that a double cheeseburger is NOT 2 different sandwiches. THE MANAGER HAD TO CORRECT HER. I sat down and ate the food. My grandmother callrd and wanted food. Went up same employee running the register. ORDERED the same thing this time she charged me 6.76. I told her it was wrong and we CALLED THE MANGER AGAIN. Manger corrected her and tried to tell her double cheeseburger is 1 sandwiches not two. Got my change back.

And then while waiting for my food. Another customer had come uo and order food. He tried to pay with a 50 dollar bill. His bill was only 11 and change and she told him she could not accept a 50 because she couldn't figure out the change. The register didn't tell her what his chnage should be. THEY HAD TO CALL THE MANGER OVER.

The manger whose name was Megan was nice. But the employee had no idea what was on the menu nor how to...

my husband and i have been to tons of McDonald's throughout our traveling, travels ...we love your coffee, drink it in our Keurig daily. so good. well out a doubt this location is the best. the employees are always friendly, kind and helpful. the coffee is spot on, delicious! we love 8 cream, 8 sugar. they do it perfectly, no clue why others (locations) can not. and true me we get some rude McDonald's employees at other locations. had a fight with a lady at a New York drive thru, still can believe how rude she was. i get it, you had a bad day but treating customer not kind is never okay. if you can not make a cup of coffee the way a customer enjoys, give them packets of sugar and cream. we love a straw with our coffee. iced coffee from this location is great. so good. they get you through the line (drive thru) are great, quick so kind. fries are tasty and hot. kind with the sauces. never been inside only through the drive thru. so kind. totally would recommend to all who are looking for some (well it is not cheap, when we were kids in the early 80's it was cheap, my hubby even worked at a McDonald's in Chesapeake, VA) going the extra mile, showing a smile, always make customers feel great. thank you. you all...

A daily customer of this location since it opened. For a long time service was top notch; consistently fast & friendly. But now it's pretty bad. About 1.5 years ago this location's customer service began a downward spiral. Now, any time of day, expect cars wrapped around the building due to slow service. For the past few months they only have 1 of 2 drive thru lanes open which compounds the wait time and indicates an employment/staffing issue at the store. The customer facing employees are lacking very basic customer service skills (welcome, please, thank you, have a nice day, clear annunciation) and if there's a mix up with the order do not expect a "sorry about that, we'll fix that for you ASAP" but rather you'll get either cluelessness or a defensive attitude for the store error. C'mon franchise owners. You can do better. We sympathize with the current labor supply/demand economy, but the regional manager at this location needs to do better and improve quality control during hiring process.
