Panda Express — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

I ordered panda express for the first time today on their app, wish I hadn't.

I was paying part with a gift card and part with a debit card. Took me a little while to input the information. Once completed, a pop-up told me I needed to change the pickup time on my order... Apparently ASAP was too soon? So I went out of my checkout menu to change the time to 15 minutes later, and lost all my progress with my gift & debit information.

We went in early, and they couldn't pull up my order because I had set it for 15 min later just to use the app ( would have been faster to go through the drive-thru or just walk in ). The employees were helpful and got our food out a little earlier than the set time.

The food is weird. I got Orange Chicken, Black pepper Chicken, and Grilled Teriyaki. The Orange Chicken was the best, but still had a synthetic orange flavor. Both the Black pepper Chicken and Grilled Teriaki have this " Formed and Extruded " taste, I couldn't finish eating those. I wasn't sure that they got my order correct at first. The cheese wantons weren't too bad, but I was surprised that they didn't come...

I ordered the large plate and asked the Gentleman What do You Like? I told Him I don't Like "Hot & Spicy!!" I'm Allergic to Hot Peppers okay 🤢!! "You are Not a Good Salesperson!!" He replied " sizzling shrimp is new it's sweet but Tangy, beef n broccoli is an all time favorite along with the Orange chicken." I didn't taste Chicken in My Egg Rolls but They were Good. It's Fine but "The Sizzling Shrimp were the Craziest Hottest Things Ever to Eat ... Spicy is an Understatement!!!! No Sweet or Tangy Here Friends!! The Fried Rice had HUGE Chunks of Onions should NOT BE in Fried Rice and your Chow Mein Noodles ~ Who is Your Cook? They Stuck Together and Chow Mein Noodles should not Stick together if Cooked Right. The Orange chicken ~ nothing was Extremely Spicy! The Beef n Broccoli was okay...

Awful customer service! Placed an order online. Went through the drive thru to pick it up once I got notification it was ready. There was one car waiting at the pickup window. I waited for 15 minutes for that car to get their food. As soon as that car left and I pulled up the girl handed me my food. I asked her if my food had been sitting there for the 15 minutes I waited behind that car. She said no. I told her in the future if someone has to wait that long for their food and other people were behind them (there were two cars behind me) that they should have the car that’s waiting pull in a parking spot so it doesn’t hold up the other cars. She actually told me to quit being petty. I will never go there again. Oh and my food was cold when I got it because it had been sitting out...
