5/2/23, arrived ~6:45pm, Hayden Roger’s on Hess. Wind blowing like mad. A table umbrella had escaped its table, and was about to collect my car when a woman customer captured it, put it back in its table, and closed it. Entered Roger’s, lots of staff on. Things seemed disorganized behind the counter. Anyway, placed my order, and sat down to wait. Noticed the table was greasy and sticky with food matter on it. Glanced around, ditto on all of the tables. Checked the floor, same thing. Name called, went up to get burger and chocolate medium shake. Same thing I always get. Shake seemed a bit light, opened the top, it was short of full by about 1.5”. Bit into the burger: cool, not at all hot, and burned to the point where it tasted overdone. I ate what I could, then went to the trash container on the parking lot, north side, to disposes of the contents of my tray only to discover that the can was literally overflowing. The container on the south side, away from the parking lot, was about 80% full, so I dumped there. Then, restroom time. I had a choice of one of two uni-gender restrooms. Chose one only to discover that the look was broken. Went to the other, that lock was ok. The floor looked and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in about a week. All in all, my most disappointing visit to a Roger’s, ever. I live just down the street from this Roger’s, so I was thrilled when it opened having fallen in love with Roger’s. I expected operational growing pains when it opened, and there were a few, but those quickly went away. However, the quality of the burgers have never reached the level of either the #1 store or the Post Falls store, which is more than a bit surprising considering that, say, In ‘n Out runs a far larger chain and maintains the same high quality of its product across the chain. Roger’s WAS a reasonable comparison to In ‘n Out before expansion, and with the addition of the Post Falls store it’s continue the quality. Not so the Hess Street Roger’s. The physical presentation of a restaurant is usually the responsibility of the on duty manager, say, a team leader, or whatever. Whoever was the on duty manager was obviously not being attentive to matters inside or outside...
Read moreThis is a random review, but I don’t know if it’s new or if it’s just this specific person but I used to be able to get a lot of fry sauce (like 4 depending on how much food I get) cause who doesn’t like extra fry sauce?! I like to add it to my burger and like lots to my fries. anyways, the last times that I’ve gone it’s always been the same person. New person never seen them before but first time I asked for extra fry sauce and they looked at me and said “one or two” and I said “two please” so I got two fry sauces, which whatever they’re probably trying to save you know? Anyways, again, this last time I went, it was the same person, and I had said when I ordered that I want extra fry sauce. I pulled up to the window, exchanged my money whatever then The person packing my food was the same person from the last time i had gone and he asked me if I wanted fry sauce and I said “yes, please” and didn’t ask me how many gave me my bag with saying no word blank face. I told him to have a good day, no response. So whatever I get home and I have lots of fries and a halfway full fry sauce cup wasn’t even enough for my fries. But anyways, that’s just kind of a bit annoying lately, especially when the person is rude about it. And the food is great besides, as a lot of people know the fries can be soggy so it’s best if you...

What finally prompted leaving a review at this location was my last visit. Ordering at the drive thru I made sure to tell the person "no mayo" at least 4 times. They always put it on no matter how much I ask, so I went out of my way to repeat it over and over.
When I get to the window, the kid working there has the window shut and never opens it until he walks up with my food. As soon as the window opened and he asked for payment I said again, "You made sure, no mayo, right?"
He looked shocked and said "Yes, there is mayo on it."
I handed it back and said "I asked 4 times for no mayo, I need this remade."
Literally he picked up a plastic knife and held it out to me and asked "Can you just scrape it off? We are closing soon and I don't want to have them remake it".
Of course I said "absolutely not" and asked for his boss. He replied "They aren't working tonight" and offered to remake it instead. Sitting in a parking spot, 20 minutes later, they bring it out. Cold, soggy, greasy fries (about 10 of them), and a remade burger.
Just horrible service and mediocre food quality desperately pretending to be a knock off of in-n-out. The difference is, in-n-out would never allow this kind of nonsense in one of...
