I recently stopped by, placed my take out order at the front counter although it took a while for an employee to come from behind the new wall, terrible idea. The girl who finally assisted me placed her uncovered, dirty hands in the ice cooler while serving two cold coffees that require ice, I mentioned the infraction to the supervisor since the manager was busy, well lo and behold another employee walks up to the ice cooler and proceeds to place his dirty uncovered hand inside, I was standing near the front part of the pickup counter In plain view of the supervisor who quickly tells the guy employee to use the scoop when retrieving ice, but that’s to late. I wonder how many other employees place their bare hands inside the ice cooler. At this point the ice cooler should have been completely emptied, cleaned and disinfected before continuing to use again, that plus a quick huddle with the employees explaining proper use.
Update to initial review: this location seems to want to only do drive through business. Don’t come here if you are expecting friendly service, they recently remodeled but didn’t add any additional stalls in the bathroom although the large hallway to the bathroom is beautiful, lol. They added an additional order lane out back, so you can expect to pay at first window, pull up to second window and you’re told to park while waiting on someone to bring your items to you. Pack your patience y’all, they lack a sense of urgency and constantly mix up the orders, it’s best you inspect your bag of food before you drive off. Last thing, I absolutely hate cold French fries, I make it a point to order fries with no salt so they have to fry up fresh ones, then I ask for a salt packet. The owner should really consider rethinking the new setup, it ain’t working well and this location is busy, it’s the workers who aren’t up to standards, they seem lacking in training.
Review Update: I took the time to offer my experience on their website including my contact information. I was pleased that a manager reached out to me via phone call, she asked about my experience, apologized more than once and ensured me that she would be addressing issues with the team. In all fairness to this fast paced restaurant, I wanted to take the time to update. I’m hopeful things...
Read moreWorst service I've ever experienced in my life rude rude rude. Latina manager whom is super happy to have been working at McDonald's for 20 years still can't get orders right. I'm starving and order my food. I cant decide what I want. Order a mcgriddle. I wait for close to 10 mins. Get food and start eating. Then look at mcgriddle that is about halfway eaten i realize i dont have a drink. When I go to the app I realize I ordered southern chicken mcgriddle not whatever i have. I am sad now cause I want to eat. So I'm waiting for my drink to tell them this is the wrong order. The food deliver guy got mad saying "why you no tell me before." I said I didn't realize but when I did I stopped eating even though I'm hungry. He snatched the receipt from my hand and stormed off.
Now the manager lady comes out. Whom barely. I mean barely speaks proper English. Making a claim that I'm trying to get free food. I said no I'm actually just wanting what I freaking ordered. I only ate the rest of the wrong food when your employee so rudely snatched my receipt and walked off. Reality is you are just going throw it away.
I am pretty heated now. When she does bring me my food I tell her I really wish you all could just get it right the first time and be polite about it. As I threw the food in the trash and laughed about her job being overtaken by robots in the near future.
I've literally been going to this McDonald's since 1993...lol. This lady should be fired or a minimum demoted to line cook. No need to talk to customers. She has no customer service ethics.
4 month update: This lady is still working manager and continues to make up rules and talk rudely to...
Read moreSo here’s my thing, this has been a long week after hurricane Beryl and I still don’t have my power back on. I go to this location JUST to get a $1 Dr. Pepper which can be done if you use the app. I use the app and their system is having an issue. They tell me that there is something wrong with the app because it’s been impacted by the storms. I said I understand, but can the manager not override it and honor the $1 price. The manger tells me that sorry because of the storm we cannot do that. We have been on and off with power and it was clear she was implying they because the location had been impacted financially they weren’t going to do anything. It was just atrocious customer service. Like I get it as well… it made a soda $2 vs $1, but it was the principal. I said I no longer wanted the soda. I wasn’t rude about it. I said back, I am extremely surprised that the franchise owner of this location would not have you honor the app price. I genuinely don’t understand because just like you all can’t help that the app is down, neither can I? McDonalds… your pricing is already getting outrageous. I just wanted an icy soda on a hot day! I’ll be honest, I normally love this location because the food and drink taste better at this one, but I was so struck by how rude that was. I know it’s not that big a deal and a first world problem, but small dollars add up. I don’t even live in this part of town, happened to be staying with a friend who has power. The people over here probably don’t care about a...
