As a Bay Area native exploring the culinary landscape of Hemet, California, I stumbled upon Steve's Burgers West, a quaint gem tucked away in this small town. Having grown accustomed to the bustling burger joints in the Bay Area, I was pleasantly surprised by the unique experience this charming establishment offered.
The first thing that caught my attention was the generous size of the burgers. Steve's Burgers West doesn't skimp on portions, and the burgers are a testament to this commitment. Each bite was a mouthful of juicy, flavorful goodness that left me thoroughly satisfied. The patties were cooked to perfection, with a delightful balance of char and tenderness. The variety of toppings and cheese options allowed for customization, catering to every burger lover's preferences.
While the burgers undoubtedly stole the show, the fries left a bit to be desired. They were, in my opinion, rather mediocre. Although they were adequately crispy on the outside, they lacked that perfect balance of softness inside. However, this minor setback was easily overlooked in light of the mouthwatering burgers on offer.
The service at Steve's Burgers West was top-notch. It had that small-town charm that you often long for in a local eatery. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home in Hemet. They were eager to offer recommendations and ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. This personal touch added to the overall appeal of the place.
One significant advantage of dining at Steve's Burgers West was the pricing. As someone accustomed to the high cost of living in the Bay Area, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices here were significantly lower. It was refreshing to enjoy such high-quality burgers without breaking the bank. This affordability made it even easier to savor the delicious flavors without any reservations.
In conclusion, Steve's Burgers West in Hemet, California, offers a delightful burger experience that's hard to beat. The substantial burger portions, friendly service, and budget-friendly prices make it a must-visit for anyone exploring the area. While the fries may not have been exceptional, the overall quality and value more than make up for it. It's a small-town burger joint that manages to capture the heart of its patrons, providing a taste of genuine hospitality and mouthwatering burgers that you won't...
Read moreAs someone who works in customer service myself, I am so sorry for the workers here. This new owner is horrible. The business has now turned into a restaurant operating on a basis of greed. We had ordered 5 burgers and only got 4. We called to let them know and the poor employees had to inform us (not their fault and this is why I say I am truly sorry for them to have to work here) that the owner says we would have to show up before they close at 9:50 (it was 9:30 already and we live some distance away) AND we would have to bring all the food back.. if not, we would have to come back tomorrow WITH the food?! So what, you expect our family to go without dinner and starve? Things like this are appalling to me and makes me question the energy put within the food. It is made with greed, NOT with love and I don't believe I want to support this place any longer due to this. I don't suggest you do either for the reasons stated. Food made by a business with the heart centered on greed is food that is for the pigs. I wouldn't be surprised if the inside is not even cleaned well either. I hope the workers can find a better place to work and the owner realizes there are consequences to running a business like this. I'm disgusted. In my job I am always looking to put a smile on others faces and give them quality food and service that they pay for (as I also work in food service) 1 star because a heart filled with greed only gets wishes of fallen stars rather than shooting stars.
I used to love this place but with this new owner it has gone completely downhill. In a place like Hemet they need to learn that the community is close knit and we actually value...
Read moreI am going to try to be responsible in my review. As I have come here for 20 years, when it was really Steve's, and when it changed over to the present owners. The food keeps going down, down, in quality and up, up, in price. I know that prices are going up, but they are getting very greedy for sub-standard food. A cheeseburger combo is about $ 15.00 now, and I am caught saying; where's the beef !! You can go to chili's up the street and get a 3 for me menu "smash" cheeseburger, special fries, a soda or ice tea, and a bowl of killer tortilla soup or potatoe soup or salad for $ 10.99; even to go with no tip. I can find the beef on that burger and if I want ranch or honey mustard dipping sauce for my fries, they do not charge the extra .76 cents for a little plastic cup portion; it's free !!! They will give me as many as I want !! My wife will not order an egg breakfast, she says that the eggs taste funny; maybe liquid eggs out of a carton. If you want salsa to kill the taste of the eggs, of course they will charge you for the salsa; greedy again!! Never had a resturant charge extra for a common condiment. Their hash browns are at best, slightly toasted mash potatoes. Sorry Steve's, your not what you use to be. Customer service is hit and miss. My last visit was very nice with a hard working staff and a wonderful amount of customer service. Bye,...
