The Brass Fork — Restaurant in Henderson

I invited 13 of my friends to the brass fork for lunch today. I personally arrived maybe 20 minutes after they did. I place my order and then we proceeded to watch other peoples food come out before ours. When I arrived at the location it was not that busy. The server that we had her name was Irene. Upon watching people receive their food, other individuals at our table who had other things to do other than sit and wait over an hour for the lunch began to leave. So I say to her, we have been sitting here over an hour waiting on our food. She never came back to check on us, She never stated please be patient. There’s something going on in the kitchen., She never even came back to ask if we wanted additional glasses of water. So when I share with her that we’ve been sitting here over an hour, watching other people get their food. This heifer says to me, don’t you lie to me. This is what your server says to me. Don’t you lie to me. I have never ever been in a restaurant and had to sit for over an hour waiting on food with the server who was a complete asshole. I was not rude to her. I was not disrespectful. I let her know we have been sitting here for over an hour. It was 230 going on 3 o’clock and we were still sitting there watching people walk past with trays of food that did not belong to us. what was so crazy is that someone at our table? Ordered a sandwich to go, Her sandwich came out, but she hadn’t even got her bowl of clam chowder soup that she had ordered to sit in the restaurant with . We ordered soup and sandwiches and salad that was it. Little short, female manager I guess she thought that this was OK behavior, Because I didn’t see her react to what Irene. said in any type of way. So they let me know that your management thinks it’s OK for your servers to be disrespectful and rude to your customers. This behavior took me to a place. I did not want to go. It caused me to get loud and cuss her behind out, So let me share with you, you should have a conversation with your servers and tell them to be mindful of what they say to customers. She doesn’t know me she doesn’t know what I’m capable of and I could’ve knocked the shit out of her because I was just that damn pissed. I’ve never had that happen to me before, and there is no reason for me to lie to anyone because I don’t know her. Your servers need customer service skills. we even mentioned to other servers hey, do you know when we are going to get our food? they basically blew us off and kept moving about there personal tables , so there is no teamwork. Is the dream work there . We go out every Friday for lunch. We have been to the brass fork many of times and we have had great service. We will never be back, And you wasted a lot of food because everybody left with the exception of four people out of 12. The service worst I’ve ever had, Irene should be terminated. if she ever says that to the wrong person, it could cause some serious repercussions right there in your restaurant. And that is not the experience that people expect when they are traveling. then to make matters worse I talk to a friend and this is what they told me that your manager said to them.

Well i had my pblms there… after my husband and I ordered and began to eat our food we were pummeled by gnats! I dont mean a few either They were in our drinks! (I was drinking a tom collins kind of drink for those who r interested) we complained and the manager said, “you should expect that its spring!” NOT IN THE RESTAURANT! We paid our bill and left.

we will never be back nor will we refer anybody, It’s pretty evident that you all...

The waiter Danny at the Brass Fork is amazing!!! The BEST! He's fast and the most polite and kind waiter! He deserves a raise! …. On the otjer hand, The male host with the long hair and the glasses has an unkept appearance and rude attitude …

The older woman that wears glasses with shoulder length fried dark brown hair who works in the GIFT SHOP located near one of the outside doors is absolutely HORRIFIC. She should be FIRED immediately!!!. Everytime we go in that gift shop, she glares at us, follows us around the store, hivers over us, makes rude nasty remarks to us and other customers. and she makes rude remarks to the other workers in the gift shop. We always spend over 100$ on gifts when we go in the gift shop and guess what? We will NOT purchase anything in the gift shop again until that mean old woman is fired! She lied to us and told us that we don’t get a discount even though we have a high level players card. Then, she proceeded to tell everyone else that came in directly after us that they can use their players card. And she give everyone else a discount with their players card . Lied to us and told us we dont get one. She was rude to the other cashier with black haired cashier and told her not to give us a bag! Even though we bought 100$ worth of large stuffed animals!!!! And she told the other cashier not to give us the discount we were entitled to aka the discount everyone else with a players card gets! And then when the other nice cashier gave us the discount that we were entitled to, this old witch told her not to give us a bag!!!! And we had 6 huge stuffed animals. Then they held our ID hostage for 20 minutes and made phone calls for 20 minutes we were waiting. While everyone else quickly came and checked out in two seconds! Then she gave us a nasty look on the way out !!!! AWFUL !!!! We will never spend money in there again.

Giving it four stars because this was my first time trying anything at this cafe and it tasted pretty good...Will update review once I've had a chance to try other things and try it again for consistency...We were on our way home when I felt really hungry all of a sudden...So I thought why not go to Sunset Casino's Grand Cafe and try one of their specials...They have a 1/2 lb burger and fries for less than $5 and that my friends is right up my alley...If I hated it...At least I didn't spend much...I was with two other family members and we orderd two burgers and fries deal and one order of a short stack of pancakes...The pancakes cost no more than $4 and were two huge nice and thick pancakes...It was almost like buying four pancakes I was impressed to say the least..The burgers were two of the biggest burgers I've seen in a long time and they were piping hot...Just like I like!! I normally will not buy a burger because everytime I get it..It's cold and I hate cold burgers!..This one was just right..Had lettuce, tomatoes and two large slices of pickle...Which I almost removed but glad I didn't..The burgers were perfect... ( Cheese was a $1 more..Which we skipped ) To my surprised the burger tasted like it had cheese..Lol...The fries on the other hand need to be replaced with thicker fries..They get hard if you don't eat them fast enough...So mine ended up in the trash...All in all..I would definitely recommend Grand Cafe to a friend or family member...Will update this review once I try them again and I hope they add...
