On Friday 08/30/24 - my friend accidentally got into a fender bender with a parked vehicle in front of this business. She went into jasons deli and talked to a manager named Gina and told her what happened and asked for help trying to find the owner of the vehicle she hit. Another customer was screaming at my friend (some random customer, not the owner of the vehicle that was hit). Gina (the manager , decided to call 911, and stated that my friend was "inebriated" and "rammed" the car. (Police confirmed to me through the complaint we launched with Henderson PD.) My friend has PTSD and Panic attacks and a stranger screaming at her had her shaking. By the time police showed up the other customer had left and my friend was being forced to go through dui testing and breathalyzer which she passed.
Why did Gina the manager feel the need to call 911 when my friend was not asking for that? Why did she use the words inebriated and ram when that was not the case? When I came later on that same day asking for information so I can make an offical complaint to the police she told me to leave and refused to assist me.
I called corporate and the GM Amy called me apologized to my friend over the phone and said she will call me back after she talks to Gina and figures out what happened on her side.
09/04/2024 I just got off the phone with Amy (GM) today and she stated that Gina didnt say those things.(police confirmed the manager called 911 and did say those things) and it must have been another customer. When I asked her about training or advocacy so something like this doesnt happen again I was told well she was trying to help. I am sorry but help who??? She was rushing me off the phone and obviously was very busy aka couldnt be bothered.
Why did the manager Gina just call out the make and model of the car trying to find the owner (he was in the business, it took the cops 5 minutes). She profiled my friend who was shaking in her panic attack and didnt want to be bothered.
Gina, you should have apologized to my friend and me for the way you acted that day and I urge you to educate yourself on PTSD and Panic attacks. You profiled a single mom who was doing the right thing. She was sitting on my couch crying thinking she did somthing wrong when she didnt.
Amy, the fact that you called me on your day off thats great. I urge you to please train your team in how to handle this kind of situation from happening again. The police stated that the manager called 911 and stated she was inebriated. Learn how to do better nd teach your staff so something like this does not...
Read moreMost things here are good. Kudos for their baked potato items especially the Pollo asada baked potato yummy! I like their corned beef sandwiches also. I usually avoid the salad bar because it really is a tiny one and you're better off going to Sweet Tomatoes if you want a salad bar. They have really good quality Ice-T of several choices and free ice cream that is more like ice milk but I can't complain if it's free. I like the atmosphere here it is spacious clean and pleasant it also has TVs that you can watch. Nice place to take the family or just go It Alone self seating they'll bring it out to you. I'm I noticed a couple Stars due to the fact in this ever-growing competition of sandwich places this place does not bake their own breads so the sandwiches will suffer on the freshness scale. Also there are excessively salty sandwiches like they're Texas brisket which cannot be finished and had to be thrown away due to excessive salt content. There price for drinks are high especially sense they have no combos where the drinks come included everything's is ala carte and you can expect to spend $12 Plus on a basic...
Read moreWell, I understand the last few years' customer service has really suffered here in Nevada. Jason's Deli has not been spared. Never being to this restaurant before, I didn't know the ropes. I was mailed at the card reader for a tip no one had eared. Next, I'm asked by a person who is clearly handing us a tray with a plate if I have a number. I try and hand her the number card. Then she made me feel stupid for trying to hand her the card. I've already paid my bill plus a tip only to be left feeling like a chump. Anywhere else, this is where I would leave, never to return. But, I'm feeling trapped. I find a table my lady goes to what seems to be a great salad bar. She returns, and a short time later, my sandwich arrives. I must admit it was the best hot dip sandwich I've ever had. But for the price, it should be a bit larger. I'm a smaller person. I finished the entire meal, including a small ice cream that was included with the meal. My choice on the size of the ice cream. It was a good meal that should have been a great meal. They just need to work on...
