Woody's Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Hendersonville

We got the philly cheese steak with onion rings, chicken philly with fries, and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders and onion rings were both really good, and I don't even like onion rings but these were good! The chicken philly was not good. It was dry and bland/flavorless. I had to add 3 packs of mayo to it to be able to eat it, if I was not starving then I wouldn't have ate it. The fries could have been cooked another couple min, they were mushy, not crispy at all and that's the only thing I ate while on the way back to the hotel so I know it's not because they sat in the to go box. My husband said his philly was alright. That means he was hungry and needed to eat but he wouldn't go out if his way to order another. Overall, if I was in the area again, I would definitely get the tenders and onion rings again but I'm not making a special trip...

Called it in and brought it home. Ordered mine with peppers and onions and my wife’s with meat and cheese only, extra cheese and mayo. Mine was correct but my wife’s had everything in the kitchen on hers. She hates mushrooms so I took one for the team and switched with her. Even with extra cheese, there was hardly any cheese on either philly. Everything else was good but it was more like a steak sandwich, the cheese doesn’t exist. This was my first time eating here with my girlfriend we got it to go so we didn't stay inside for long. It's a small place but has nice charm to it. I got the Philly cheese steak with some fries and she got the chicken steak with some onion rings. My Philly cheese steak had some good flavor wasn't overcooked wasn't dry or tough. I got tomatoes and lettuce it was fresh the fries were good not overly salted and it came with a lot. The onion rings were good as well they had a good outside crisp and good flavor.
