Not at all impressed. Went on a Friday around 1:00. I was one of the first to arrive and told them we had a group of eight coming. Then as we waited for the rest of the group we started to look at the menu. 1st red flag: Two entire sections on their menu were covered with duck tape because they didn't offer it anymore. One of the regulars in the group said this was normal. (Update your menu please)
Then as the rest of the group arrived we ended up with 10 instead of 8. The server was nearly offended that we would dare bring more people with us. (Some people just don't like making money I guess) 2nd red flag: she then informs us that there is only one cook in the back right now, as if this was un normal, and that we would not get all our food at the same time. (Why are you under staffed at lunch time on the weekend)
Then came time to order. Most in the group ordered from the lunch menu, but only two people in we hit the 3rd flag. Only about 3-4 items on the 10 item menu were in stock and available. 😧 I thought ok no problem for me I was planning on ordering from the chef's specialty menu. The first item on the menu was out of stock. I didn't even bother with the rest of the menu and just ordered the orange chicken like many previous in the group had done. (Why on earth are you running out of food halfway through a Friday?!) After asking one of the regulars about it he said this was common too. And not only that, but he had seen someone order something with rice and be told they were out of rice, 😧, then proceed to order something else and have it delivered to him with rice on the side.
To top it all off the food was not the best, and we had other problems throughout our stay. If you want a nice sit down Chinese place. Go to Fongs in PG. They have a much better selection and always have plenty...
Read moreWell... It was disappointing. We had decently high hopes for this place but it let us down and sadly led us to want to never come here again. To start out they were out of the Thai tea. The boba I got in my smoothie looked nothing like the picture and didn't taste or look like any of the typical tapioca that I have experienced. The food was bland. I got the house noodle soup. The chicken tasted strange and had the texture of something I can only describe as fake. I only ate about 5 bites of various parts of my soup before it got to the point where it all just became unappetizing. To their credit, they did apologize for the soup after we explained we didn't even want to take what was left home and didn't charge us for it. My partner got the sesame chicken which he liked. Although he didn't like the fried rice, the ham and egg was nice and I thought it had a nice wok seared flavor. In the end, the fried rice would be the only reason I...
Read moreNot impressed. Not a very welcoming greeting. The woman asked, "what"? Well, we would like to be seated. That's what! We were seated and given menus, but then forgot about and we had to flag someone down. Finally, a child, no more than 12, asked what we wanted to drink. Then when we finally ordered our meal, nobody came to check on us. The egg drop soup had zero flavor and it was super jelly-like. It was not hot and was not great! The food was decent, but not rave worthy. The sesame chicken was good, but the sweet and sour chicken was disappointing. The egg rolls were greasy and didn't taste good. Then after we ate, we waited for someone to offer us a take home box and bring the check. Again, we had to flag someone down. Then we waited for the check. We went to the front to pay and there was nobody to check us out. Then there was someone yelling back and forth when the 12 year old child came to check us out. Disappointed and...
