After my wife took my kids to Fiiz a few times, I decided to finally come along to learn what the big deal was. The shop was clean and the service was friendly, but I failed to understand what was so compelling about the product. It's basically a non-alcoholic bar that delivers the same product as the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine at McDonalds – except that you pay 3x, get a much smaller serving, and you can't help yourself to free refills. On the other hand, at Fiiz you can upgrade your drink with whipped cream, and Freestyle won't do that!
I suppose a place like this might be appealing to teenagers as a cool place to hang out. If you like noisy places, the concrete floors and industrial decor that loudly echoes every little noise – including the unwatched TV blaring in the corner – then this place will not disappoint.
That said, the staff expertly delivered the product, and the service was great. I like soda, but I just don't understand how this particular product is appealing enough for the company to stay in business.
My 5-year-old recommends Sharks In The Water. (I tried it and it was yummy.) She thrives in a loud environment and happily adds to it, and she still has no understanding of money, so she's always asking to go. I'll probably return with her, based on her good behavior, but it will never be...
Read moreI’m a frequent customer, usually ordering one of their signature drinks, “Threat Level Midnight”. Almost 80% of the time, they will add cream to it - there is NO cream in this drink. It’s not on their menu as part of the Threat Level Midnight, nor is it printed on the little sticker on the cup. So WHY do they keeping cream in it?? Today I ordered it, got home and realized they put cream in it. Went back down to the store to ask them to redo it and they told me I would have to purchase a new drink, and that it is MY fault it keeps happening because I must have ordered it with cream in the past (even though all I order is a Threat Level Midnight which, in fact, doesn’t have cream in it!).
Charging people for duplicate drinks because YOUR employees can’t seem to make a soda right from YOUR menu is ridiculous. I wouldn’t bother with a review if it happened once, but after multiple times of this continually happening, and then being told I have to pay for replacement drinks is wild. The lobby is darling, but between the terrible customer service, continued messed up drinks and unbearably loud music inside, we won’t be visiting this...
Read moreManagement has got to figure out the drive through situation! There are signs everywhere to get it so people aren't blocking the parking lot. Today when I got there, there was a long line of cars blocking the whole parking lot and several cars stuck. So I waited on the designated spot for the line to die down so I could move forward without blocking the parking lot, which I'm sure the people who were finally able to leave during that time appreciated. Then, as it was almost my time to move up without blocking anyone, some woman came and just cut me off and got in line. And another person after her. So essentially, you can be rude and block the parking lot or, if you follow the signs, you'll get cut off repeatedly. We used to go here all the time but I think we're done. It's too frustrating to try and get a soda, and half the time they forget to add cream to the drink anyway, which is particularly annoying since it's kind of an...
