From the moment I stepped into Little India, I was enveloped in an atmosphere that fused warm hospitality with rich, cultural elegance. The restaurant's decor, adorned with intricate Indian art and soft lighting, immediately set the stage for an extraordinary culinary journey. As I perused the menu, I found myself entranced by the diversity of dishes and the authenticity that shone through. However, my heart was set on the classic Chicken Tikka Masala, a dish that has long been a favorite of mine. I anticipated its arrival, and what I experienced upon first taste was nothing short of magical.
The Chicken Tikka Masala at Little India is an impressive celebration of flavors that truly elevated the dining experience. Each bite revealed an exquisite balance of savory and spice that instantly transported me to the bustling streets of India. The chicken was remarkably tender, marinated to perfection and infused with spices that had clearly been thoughtfully selected for their complementary attributes.
As I savored the first bite, the rich, creamy sauce enveloped the chicken like a silky embrace, with a subtle smokiness and an undercurrent of aromatic spices. I could distinctly identify the layers of cumin, coriander, and cardamom, each dancing on my palate in a harmonious choreography that was simply unparalleled. The heat was perfectly measured—not overwhelming, but just enough to add depth and intrigue to the dish.
Moreover, the chef had artfully incorporated a hint of acidity that brightened the entire flavor profile. I was pleasantly surprised by the subtle sweetness that emerged, perhaps a trace of onion or tomato, which balanced the spices and gave the dish an inviting richness. It was a masterclass in texture and flavor development that showcased the chef’s deep understanding of Indian cuisine.
The accompanying rice, fluffy and fragrant, was the ideal canvas for soaking up the vibrant sauce, while the freshly baked naan was a delight, warm and pillowy with a hint of char. Together, they formed an impeccable pairing—the naan perfect for scooping up that luscious, spiced gravy, while the rice offered a satisfying vehicle to enjoy every last drop of that divine tikka masala.
Throughout the meal, the attentive service added to the overall experience. The staff at Little India seemed genuinely passionate about the food they served, eager to share the details of the ingredients and preparations that made each dish so special. It was clear they took pride in providing not just a meal, but an authentic cultural experience.
In a world where chain restaurants often homogenize cuisine, Little India stands out as a beacon of authenticity and flavor. This gem is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of India, elegantly presented and expertly crafted. For those seeking to indulge in a vibrant tapestry of spices and textures, the Chicken Tikka Masala here is an experience not to be missed. In closing, my evening at Little India was nothing short of extraordinary. I left feeling utterly satisfied, my senses tantalized and my heart warmed by the generous spirit of Indian hospitality. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough; it’s an absolute must-visit for anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine that tells a story...
Read moreThis place is really wonderful. I am not one to usually write reviews for places, but I love this place so much I just had to recommend. So let me go through the experience (I’ve been like 5 times so far). First, they are quick and on top of getting your order. You don’t have to wait for long at all for your server to come and get your order. When it comes to ordering, I doubt you can go wrong. As for drinks, I love the Indian Chai, It’s extremely tasty, probably the best teas I’ve ever had. Make sure to wait a tad to let it cool before drinking ofc. They give you as many sugar/sweetener packets as you want. You don’t need them though tbh, but if that’s ur Jazz pour and stir away to ur heart content! The water there they make sure you always have enough and it’s perfect temperature: cold. They have these nice metal cups that are really enjoyable to drink out of. When it comes to Naan, order the onion Naan. It’s hella good. I mean I haven’t tried all the Naan breads yet, but I really really like the Onion one. Aight so as far as order goes, I haven’t heard anyone not like an entre. Personally I’ve had Butter Chicken and Lamb Boti Masala. They are both so so so so soooooo delicious. They will give you as much rice as you need and are great at filling it up for refills, so don’t feel you need to overdo it on sauce/chicken to rice ratio. As far as serving size goes, I’m someone who eats a lot and I’ve always felt perfectly full and satisfied after. So if you don’t eat as much, you can definitely share or whatever. Or even better take some home and have a wonderful lunch the next day! Haven’t done that personally, but family members have and they enjoy it. When it comes to leaving, the server will be quick with it again. You don’t have to wait long at all, so that’s really nice. You’ll tip generously and feel like the service actually merited the tip you are giving. The servers and staff are incredible (at least all the ones I’ve interacted with). The place and atmosphere is clean and just good vibes in general. I have always left feeling really satisfied and extremely happy. I don’t know if I’m forgetting anything, but I haven’t had any negative experience or complaints or even suggestions for the place cuz it’s simply just that good. Once you are done with your 10/10 experience, right a review (you don’t need to make it as long as mine) and you can mention that Ethan B was 100% correct if you want. And then keep coming back for some incredibly delicious food. Love y’all and hope this is helpful for anyone on google reviews wondering if this place is awesome. I don’t know if I was able to convince you that it is, but a visit will certainly...
Read moreI was really excited to see the new location. I live in Heber City, where Little India opened up a year or so ago and love the food.
The food is so good. I was never much a fan of Indian food guy most my life. Little India completely changed it. My favorite is the Butter chicken. I crave it all the time. But I have had multiple dishes there and everyone is great. Here are some dishes that I believe are a must. First start with the samosa or Onion Bhaji for an appetizer. Both incredible. Main dishes my current favorites are: Butter chicken, Chettinad Kolee, lamb coconut Kurma, vegetable coconut kurma. Chicken Tandoori and chicken curry are great too. Don’t forget the garlic Naan too. Honestly, you won’t be disappointed with any dish. Every one I have tried have tasted so good. The portions are large enough for me that I can’t eat an entire main dish so I take home the leftovers and still love it the next day. Only great food can this happen.
The service is outstanding. Always been greeted with huge smiles. Everyone is always very friendly. They are always checking in to see how we are doing and been on top of the service every time.
The restaurant is amazing on the inside. Just for the art work alone with the fully covered walls with different murals, the ceiling and the little details is worth seeing. It is its own art gallery.
This restaurant is one of the best. Definitely need to go try it if you haven’t. One of my favorites now and certainly one of my top restaurants...
