i called the store to ask if i could change something on my order before i got there. someone picked up and she was really dismissive and rude and it seemed like she didnt even want to help. so i just decided to go in the store to ask in person. no "hi welcome in" but instead i just got told its not done yet before i could even say anything or why i came in early. i dont mind if its busy and i have to wait, i arrived early anyways, but fast food doesnt = its ready in 10 minutes. just please be nice about it.
frustrating how half of the staff were nice and then this one lady (in her 40s i think) was rude, yelling at people in front of customers is absolutely unacceptable. someone tried to help me out but the SAME lady jumped in like as if she didnt just dismiss me earlier. she didnt let the other staff there do their job and help me out, this place must be hell on earth for them.. at that point i didnt even care too much about changing my order. watching everyone get micromanaged like babies while my food is probably getting cold somewhere was just..frustrating to say the least.
eventually i got my order but i shouldnt have had to jump through hoops like that for customer service. food was a good try, but i likely wont be coming back to this store. the atmosphere felt tense as soon as i walked in and that ladys harshness towards me and staff was not okay, i hope thats not usual for other customers. thank you to those that tried to help...
Read moreI never leave any kind of reviews, but my experience here was honestly unbelievable. I came in expecting a casual meal, but left frustrated and honestly a little shocked at how poorly we were treated. not by the servers (who seemed stressed but were trying), but by what seemed to be the manager, a middle-aged woman who clearly has no business running a customer facing job.
She was probably in her 40s, short, very stern demeanor, and she spent most of our time there snapping at her staff. I don’t think most people were paying attention, but I was. She would also be flat out rude to guests, including us. When we politely asked about a wrong item on our order, she cut us off, rolled her eyes, and acted like we were wasting her time. No apology, just attitude.
You could see how tense the employees were around her, which honestly made the whole environment uncomfortable. I overheard her raising her voice at a younger employee making salads, and it was honestly hard to watch. It felt more like a high stress kitchen reality show than a restaurant where you’d want to relax and eat.
Food was fine, but customer service matters, and this place seriously needs a change in management. It’s unbelievable how she acts like this and they allow her to work here. I won’t be back, and I’d warn others that if you care about being treated with basic respect, you’ll be treated like you’re a...
Read moreI usually love Cubby’s (which is the only reason I’m leaving 3 stars rather than 2). They have a new menu item: protein plates. I ordered the salmon protein plate that comes with 4 oz. Salmon, salad, and a side. The salad and sweet potatoes fries were great. The salmon was not good. It came absolutely drenched in a sticky, grainy sauce—honey bbq maybe. No mention in the description that the salmon would have sauce, and I’ve never had salmon served so covered in sauce that you couldn’t see the salmon. I tasted the sauce and then scraped it off. The salmon underneath was overcooked. The pic shows what I left of my $16.99 meal (most of the salmon, sauce scraped off). The note on the table said they would like to make it right (see image), but when I talked to them they just said thanks for letting us know you didn’t like it. Salmon, zero stars. Service (“we’d like to make it right”) also...
