The place itself is small but cute—definitely has a charming local feel. However, the food and service left much to be desired during my visit.
I ordered a burrito with chorizo, but to be honest, I could probably count how many tiny pieces of chorizo were actually in it. It felt like there was barely a tablespoon—definitely more egg than anything else. I was disappointed, but I will say the owner did try to rectify the situation by offering something else. By that point though, I was already over it. Thankfully, I did get a refund.
The home fries were $3.50, but it felt like I only got a half cup of them. That seems to be a common issue in Hilton Head—everything is overpriced, and the portions are noticeably small.
My daughter ordered pancakes with Nutella, but what she got tasted more like chocolate syrup than Nutella. The pancakes themselves didn’t taste fresh—more like a boxed mix. Definitely not worth the price.
As for sides, keep in mind that bacon is $3.75 for two slices—not three, not four, just two.
What really rubbed me the wrong way was the service dynamic. When a group of white patrons arrived, the owner gushed over them, saying they were her biggest supporters and even gave them kisses. Meanwhile, I was still standing there, trying to get service and support a local business too.
This is just my personal experience and opinion—but I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. I hope others have a better time, but I won’t...
Read moreHonestly I don’t undertand why people brag about this place so much. The aren’t welcoming, when you walk in the door they don’t greet. They are somewhat nice but. It very outgoing. You order and then they bring your food tot he table. But it is quite pricey for the quality of the food. Also the salt and pepper shaker were dirty. Like they just left everything outside at night and left. Well the salt shake was humid. So no salt was coming out. I was shaking the heck of that salt and even then I wasn’t lucky. I think my favorite was the huevos rancheros. Even if they came out diferent from the pictures I saw previously. Everything was in a big shell. It was very tasty but I kind of wanted to rice and the beans on the side to put whatever i wanted or eat it how I wanted it. My husbands brakefast was just plain scrambled eggs with their super hard fried potatoes and a sausage that was like $9 dlls pitiful. My son order scrambled eggs with cheeese bacon and pancakes and the pancakes tasted weird. Orange juice isn’t fresh. It’s like a cheap orange juice brand and the coffee wasn’t all that either. I was disappointed because I saw the 4.7 star review and it’s not all that. I would say it’s more of a 3 star the most. We won’t be back...

It's filled with cheesy Steak goodness and the perfect amount of onions and peppers. They are known for there homemade burgers and boy did my friend inhale his! These burgers are absolutely amazing and big! Want a great burger or Philly CheeseSteak this is your place. Lots of people were ordering there chicken waffle burger and honestly I'll be back to try them. The people around us said they were "phenomenal." There were people there that have been coming back everyday to get their food while in town! Excellent people serving and preparing food, very friendly and nice. The place is small one way in and out. There is outdoor and indoor seating. I call this a casual dining place, beach wear would be welcome for sure. Only draw back I found has nothing to do with food or service was the sweet tea was not Southern sweet tea and the lemonade from the fountain machine was not great, just don't like that style probably. 100 percent loved eating the food here and looking forward to enjoying...
