A chaotic mess with inattentive staff and unsanitary food handling practices 🤢 (one staff dropped ice cream on me 👎🏼) The sign outside the shop states, "There's no line, feel free to move around" - but how? Not when the place is packed with ~100 other people, all competing to get a staff's attention 🤷 The girl who scooped our ice cream was friendly, but another staff completely ruined the experience for me. While I was paying for my order and signing the receipt as instructed, a male staff slammed the freezer door so hard, knocking over two of my ice cream onto me, then to the floor. There was no care from that staff, only a "not my problem" kind of response. The first staff was helpful to replace the ruined ice cream, but was not very kind about it. I also noticed questionable food handling practices - many staff members were touching/rubbing their faces, hair, clothes, then using no gloves to scoop ice cream and grab a cone.. The ice cream freezer didn't seem very clean and was easy to get debris inside as I watched a balled up paper napkin fall into one of the tubs of ice cream.. This business's negligence makes this place unbearable not just for customers but the employees - this is not sustainable - come up with better ordering systems, make better use of space. For example, there are two doors, so why not dedicate one for entrance and the other for exit to allow customers to flow through, rather than creating a trap. At this rate, I would not be surprised if a small child gets trampled or if someone falls unconscious due to heat exhaustion and lack of airflow inside the store.

Frozen Moo is a great ice cream place with more than 90 types of ice cream (at least according to the sign). There is no "line" per se... You just step up to the counter and whoever is available to serve you will do so. The ice cream varieties are many, with some being classic (chocolate, vanilla, etc), some modern (cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, moose tracks), and some far out ("garbage" (7 different candy bars in the ice cream), blue cookie monster, etc.) The ice cream is good, and reasonably priced for Hilton Head...it's very similarly priced to Cold Stone Creamery, and more than Dairy Queen. The place is usually crowded, but becomes very very crowded around supper time and later evening. All in all, I'd definitely go back again for more frozen Moo ice cream!

Place was a madhouse, and people lined up door to door. People outside crowded the place eating. A sign just inside the door, stated "no lines" and there certainly was none. So we grabbed the menu and it had a gazillion flavours, and behind the glass counters amazing looking buckets of ice cream. While we watched what must have been a dozen young adults working as fast as they could. People were toggling to get to the front and place a order from all directions. The ice cream was great, and cost was fair. While it was chaos, it went quicker then expected. The location was great as well, as plenty of space in the shopping center to enjoy. I recommend this place, and would visit again if I had the chance.

Well, this review is going to get icy, so make sure you’re prepared for the cold, not really. This ice cream shop is not in a chilly location it is obviously in Hilton Head which is pretty hot year-round, but this isn’t the weather channel so let's get into the ice cream. I’m trying to take a break from McDonald’s my beloved, my light, my favorite place in the world, so I tried this local ice cream store… FROZEN MOO! (aka frozen momo). Let’s go onto the FLAVORS,I mean my favorites include( but aren’t limited to) bear claw, gold mine, German chocolate cake, Red white and MOO (aka red white and momo), cookie monster (aka my favorite sesame street character, I mean I relate to him on a personal level) , and sunken treasure. Now let’s talk about the experience, see this place has a water fountain where you can get FREE water, and at the line to get water some RUDE ten year old kid thought it would be funny (let me stress how not funny it was) to cut in front of me in line! I’m a pretty chill guy until it comes to people cutting in front of me. This is a BIG pet peeve of mine, and this child had the nerve to continue to act as if it was fine. I had to put a stop to this devil reincarnated, so I pushed that kid out of the line (with little force if you were wondering). Guess what happened next, that devil tried to push ME out of line, and I thought no ten year old could push me out of line (I weigh 190 lbs or roughly 86 kg). If you thought the kid succeeded then you would have lost a bet because tattle tailing is on my side. I announced to the whole store that I needed this child’s guardian, and they did come asking me what the problem was , and I said the there little monster was being rude and they need to put her on a leash. The mother seemed in utter shock that I would say something like that, but I told her that I am always painfully honest. After this experience I went to my happy place McDonald's, and got a nice hot fudge sundae and Mushroom & Swiss Buttermilk Crispy Chicken (which is not my favorite the double bacon smokehouse burger is just in case you...

We visited this lil spot and saw ppl spilling out waiting their turn to get their choice of cold creamy deliciousness! My expectation was met as the ice cream was really awesome! They offered an enormous selection and provided good service! I enjoyed my after dinner dessert so much last night that I left a generous tip and we returned tonight! I was so ready to give this place 5 stars; However, they fell VERY short on service tonight!! I was right in the front of the counter and kept being OVERLOOKED! It was like I was invisible even though I was the DARKEST person in the shop tonight! A server assisted the family standing right next to me, said good night and LITERALLY turned on her heels and walked away! No “I’ll be right with you, ma’am” or “I have to run to the back and someone will be right with you.” She said NOTHING just left and walked right past me! Then a guy came over and again I was bypassed and he went to the group of young girls waiting a few feet away!! Finally the original girl came back out and asked if she could help me. I replied, “yes, thank you!” I gave her my order and as if I was on candid camera or punked she replies “ oh we don’t allow 2 flavors with a kids scoop” I explained my son ordered the exact same thing last night and I got absolutely no pushback! She decided to make what he wanted but made sure to say the person last night must have been new. I pointed out who it was but she didn’t say anything else about it. She did offer somewhat of an apology for the person who helped me last night! Had tonight been my 1st experience I would have given this place 1 star for their horrible service! But since last night was a 5 for me I decided to go with a average of 3 stars cause the ice cream really...
