We had an amazing experience with Sweetwater Steamer on Hilton Head Island! We ordered the Steamer Boil for 4 and added 2 crab clusters, which came in a convenient bucket that we cooked at our condo. The staff member who prepared our bucket was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the process seamless. The atmosphere at Sweetwater Steamer was great, but the real star of the show was the food. The fresh shrimp were huge and plentiful, and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. We highly recommend Sweetwater Steamer to anyone looking for a delicious and convenient seafood experience on Hilton Head Island.

Purchased a low country boil for two, medium spice mix, and the smoked sausage. We cooked it using a can of Summer Shandy beer (instead of water, as the instructions suggest water, beer, or wine for cooking). In under 30 minutes we had a fantastic meal, with more food than we could eat! Shrimp came out tender and flavorful, as were the other ingredients. When we finished, we piled the shrimp shells into the bucket, tossed it all (bucket is designed as single use) and cleanup is complete! This place is perfect for a great meal with minimal fuss; highly recommend you try it out!

Soooo much food… we ate our fill AND we had leftovers! Use the cooking bucket for the shells… easiest cleanup and our family had a blast together! We added crab legs to our bucket… beyond worth the money!

So unbelievably delicious!!! This was such an incredible meal for the family on our last day visiting. Hands down would recommend this to EVERYONE who lives or visits HH. Words really can’t describe how amazing this was, and how easy it was to make at the house! The house seasoning is wonderful and perfect. The juice once it’s all done cooking 👌 (use beer or wine if you can, makes it that much better) . I wish I took photos of the food and the spread we had. Added lobster tails, crab legs and crawfish to our order. The owner is wonderful and amazing, and gave us some great additional advice on how to prepare our boil. 10/10 and will 100% be ordering from here again whenever we are back. We had family in town to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our group of 12 didn’t want to fight restaurant crowds over Labor Day weekend so we opted for the Lowco Boil at home. The boil was PHENOMENAL with everyone remarking how delicious it was. My only recommendation would be to provide alternate cooking times for larger pots. We had a strong gas burner but since we were cooking for 15, our boil took a bit longer than what was suggested. Not a big deal, but we would’ve started cooking sooner to accommodate the longer cook time. That said, we will definitely order again for future celebrations. Highly recommend!
