Cheeseburger Bobby's — Restaurant in Hiram

I went here about late 2020 and am just now writing this review because I just remembered and I think it's important to advise people about my experience during these times. I went there and ordered a cheeseburger combo. The couple in front of me ordered and sat and waited for their food and then I did the same. When it was time for them to pick up their food they asked the servers to fix them a side of lettuce and tomatoes because a group of kids had been at the salad bar where they were talking, coughing, and/or picking up things with their bare hands. The employees told them they would have the salad bar changed out but also gave them stuff from the back. When I went up to get my food I was told to go to the salad bar after I requested for some lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños from the back also. So in essence they didn't intend to change any of the food at the salad bar and if I had not heard the previous customers request, I would have been eating the same contaminated food all because they didn't believe that the previous customers were telling the truth. The employee even asked me if I had seen it because they didn't think the other people were telling the truth. I doubt they changed anything after I left. I haven't been back since and...

My sister on law raved about the French fries as to hot, tasty, fresh. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger (1/3rd lb) meal. This cam with fries and a medium drink. The meal was $10.99.

As part of this meal, you could add condiments and veggie additions from the veggie bar. I ate my burger as it was delivered: bun, two 1/6th pound hamburger patties, 1 slice cheddar cheese and two strips of bacon. All cooked properly and neatly presented. There was a decent portion of French fries along side it.

Pros: The food tasted good. The food was warm/hot where it should have been. The staff were friendly. Condiment area was well stocked.

Cons:

I was expecting a 1/3rd lb patty, not two smaller patties(this is a gourmet burger place right)

While the fries did taste good, instead of a basket of long fries I got a basket of short bits of fries. Not representative of a gourmet burger place. My dining companions received the same.

The price. $10.99 should have gotten a more upscale meal. I would not put the value of this meal above $6.50 which puts it in the league that it belongs.

The food did taste fine but was lacking the gourmet features the price implies.

Consider the value...

I and my family and friends been coming here for over ten years, actually ever since they opened. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.

The food is great. You basically order your burger or food at the counter, you can order different size burgers, all handmade and cooked to order. I always order a large burger plain, no cheese, cooked medium, then I go to the condiment bar and load it up with mustard, chopped white onions, and jalapeños...magically delicious!

Once you get your food they have a condiment bar with anything you can think of to put on your burger or food. Also, they give you endless fries. I usually get so full on the burger I can barely eat too many fries (which are hand cut and fried on the spot from fresh potatoes) and while you are eating a server walks around offering more free fries. They have great iced tea.

The staff are ALWAYS polite, and they've had several people on staff working there for a long time, and everyone is always smiling, so someone is obviously taking good care of their employees.

I have never been let down here and I hope I and my family will continue to enjoy coming here for...
