Normally I come to this place and experience great service and very nice workers. However I stopped in today and experienced the worst service.
I asked the girl if I could have gluten free bread and specified that it was an allergy. She seemed a bit nervous and cut the bread in half, and threw away the other half without asking me which size I wanted first and did it before i could say anthing. Definitely not a big deal and i can understand just going through the motions. When I asked for large, she started sighing, shrugging and mumbling with raised eyebrows that she will go have to grab another thing of bread. I tried letting her know that though i have an allergy I won't go into anaphylaxis or anything so she could just grab any gluten free bread off the shelf. She continued to sigh and act extremely burdened.
I told her i will be ordering 2 sub's and when she asked what bread for the 2nd sub, I said regular Italian. She then frustratingly said okay then so its NOT and allergy it IS preference.
Confused i said no i do have an allergy this 2nd sub is for my husband.
She replied "yeah no what size". Every thing after that was followed with eye brow raising eye rolling and sighing. Even asking for my sub to be warm earned me an eye roll.
I Also didnt receive my sub warmed.
I get having a bad day but this is not the enthusiastic and outstanding service I'm used at this sandwich joint.
I left feeling awful. great food but I unfortunately will not be...

Returned 03/22/2023 at about 16:00 and ordered a cheese steak. All of the tables were dirty and the trash was near to overflowing. The sandwich was good but it could have had more cheese on it, what was left of the cheese made the sandwich very messy.
The response from the owner requested an email and an email was sent with no response or follow-up from the owner (I suspect that it was not the owner but someone from the management group). This is typical corporate chain restaurant behavior, and I have adjusted my rating accordingly and in a downward direction. What I didn't say in the email that this area, in particular, does not fare well for chain restaurants, check here for the relative low ratings of many of the local versions of the national chains. The dining scene is this area is abysmal, both in choice, selection, and execution.
I've been back a couple of times in 2025. It's rare to find all tables being clean. One can get a good sandwich here by using the app. The problem with all of the chain sub shops in this area is the ratio between the bread and the meat and cheese. While more expensive, it pays to order with double-meat and double-cheese for a more substantial sandwich experience.
Recent order was incorrect, ordered extra meat and extra cheese and bizarrely one half of the sandwich was correct and the other half was incorrect. Consistency and cleanliness are not hallmarks of...
Read moreSo Sunday night I order two giant subs. A number 13 and a number eight I ask for the rosemary Parmesan cheese bread when I go to pick them up all of a sudden I’m being charged over $40. I ask why and they said well there’s an up charge for gluten-free bread I said what I didn’t order gluten-free bread. So they say they can’t do anything about it. They said they’ll reimburse me the additional $4.50 or so for gluten-free bread. I never ordered gluten-free bread I get home and the sandwiches are absolutely horrible almost unedible. I didn’t even know Jersey Mike’s had such a thing as gluten-free bread. I called them and I complained about how bad the subs were and they said they’d look into it well they reimbursed me the $4.50 or so for gluten-free, but didn’t do a thing about how lousy the sandwiches were, and that they put them on the wrong bread we couldn’t even eat them. They were that bad I will not go back to Jersey Mike’s in Holland, nor should anyone else. They were not willing to reimburse me for their mistake. Admittedly, I should’ve made them redo the sandwiches but honestly I didn’t even know what gluten-free bread would taste like. I also thought well maybe the Parmesan rosemary bread is now considered...
