Puffles - Waffles & Ice Cream & Boba (Hollywood Beach) — Restaurant in Hollywood

Customer service is horrible! The supposedly owner is horrible and does not know how to talk/treat customers. We ordered a cone with cookies n cream ice cream when we got the order it was in a cup with soft serve ice cream. We told the owner we ordered a cone with cookies n cream and he said our cookies n cream is soft serve ice cream with cookies n cream flavor. Wth. We took order back to cashier and said we dont want it we asked for cone with cookies n cream ice cream. She said we only have soft serve cookies n cream and we were like why didnt you say that when we ordered. Mind you the meau cleary indicates scooped flavored ice cream not soft served. Then while we sit to wait for the order to be re-made the owner says "so you dont want that one and want another one for free". No we dont want it for free we paid and you gave us the wrong thing. No we didnt and now we have to throw away product and give one for free. Well thats not our problem your cashier didnt advise cookies n cream was soft serve and not scooped ice cream. We are the customer we paid and want what we asked for. He went on with an attitude that he will stand up for his employees. Well good you should but the customer needs to be treated right and with respect. Btw the customer is always right! He is the owner and treats customer this way. It was my first time there and will not spend my money...

This has been one of my favorite places on the boardwalk for months. Until this past weekend. The absolute worst experience! And nothing to do with the ice cream, it was great as usual. This is all about the Manager and his completely rude and unintelligent business practices. We wanted to buy a hard scoop of ice cream in the larger plastic cup. He declined. I politely asked if it was because the larger plastic cup cost more than the paper cup, and if so I would gladly pay the extra amount. He again declined and became very defensive. He said only specific types of ice cream can be purchased with the plastic cup. After getting past this issue, we then requested the toppings. Again he had an issue. Only specific toppings can be purchased for specific types of ice cream! Who ever heard of such crazy business practices?!? They have a good thing going at Puffles, but this type of mindset in a service industry, will doom this place. As a faithful weekly customer, we will never set foot in this place again and will share the lack of managerial intelligence with everyone we come across. Do...

So I had high expectations for this location. I drove a bit far to come here. First it's not an easy location to just park and go in. You have the park in the parking garage which you have to pay. It is located on the boardwalk to go to the beach so that's kinda nice. If your in the area to eat there and then get some ice cream. Inside was actually really plain lol. Secondly I wanted a sundae but you can only get that with soft-serve ice cream which they only have two flavors - Nutella and banana.... The scoop ice cream can not go in the cup with the puffy waffle. I found that a bit annoying, why not just order slightly bigger cups. So I ended up getting one of there signature creations which was the pocket full of sunshine. Which I swapped M&M's with peanuts. It was really good. They also have two different waffles - original and chocolate. My daughter just got a basic cookie and cream with the puffy waffle. The waffle is made on the spot of your order which was nice. And the service was fast. Overall I liked it but I will not make this...
