we chose to dine here at the beach location on our last night of our spring vacation and to say it was mediocre is being kind. the atmosphere is pretty loud, but that was just ok for sitting in back to still hear music from the beach theater. the food that was prepared correct was very bland, no flavor. my burger was totally wrong. I even asked jokingly at the server who didnt write down what we were ordering if he needed a pen.. well , of course mine came out super wrong! then im starving as it is, and for the pricing of 22 dollar burgers and salads one would think it would be top notch! nope! my sisters Caribbean salad looked like the iceberg mix from a grocery store, minimum toppings, burger was wrong, the pre made microwave bacon, and on top of the fries not being what I ordered but I didnt want to wait another 45 min for food..my kid didn't get her " homemade "chips she wanted .. when they did arrive those were no flavor. Definitely not like the ones from fairs as we assumed? our server blamed the kitchen, didnt apologize and we got overcharged for the things we didn't order. pretty annoyed at that point so when I said what I said, the server did ask manager and they comped just my burger. but still, it was still over 60 dollar meals for 2 kids and a dinner salad! yikes! Definitely not worth the prices or service. charging that much should be delicious food! .. just skip the beach vibe and travel inland for your last nice meal! burger king tastes better, ...

We were charged more than 5 dollars more for the "beer bucket" that was advertised in the menu. When ordered no mention of any kind of additional charge on the menu, or by the server if we chose 2 different beers from the same priced listed beer cans.
the charge was silently added and expected to be paid, when I questioned why we were being charged for the more expensive beer bucket, they said it was due to the choice of having two different (same priced) beer cans in the beer bucket. the server said she would speak with the manager to have the price changed, then came back with a 5 dollar discount mentioning that the menu had not been updated with the new charge and we were mistakenly charged by accident.
yeah, right. I wasn't born yesterday miss.
I'm sure this bar and grill has been robbing plenty of others. don't be a victim of their theft, go drink and eat at a better restaurant in Hollywood, there are about 100 more around to try. just give this one a blind eye. not worth your time and certainly not worth your money.
I will never go back there and will always tell people in Hollywood to avoid it.

Read moreAs a local resident, this was my first time visiting Land Shark,I brought about 13 guests from out of town, which I thought would be a great experience. To begin with, seating was an issue, it took about 10 plus minutes for someone to approach our table and it was not clear who the waiter/waitress was serving our table. Everyone seemed to be a bit lost and kept rushing us to place our order as the kitchen was closing. The drink menu was limited and over-priced, especially using plastic cups for such priced paid. The waitress seemed annoyed as my guest and was asking questions about the menu. I ordered the chicken sandwich and ended up throwing it out because it was burnt, and some of my guest's food was cold. It is understood that the kitchen was closing but CUSTOMER SERVICE speaks VOLUME. Over all, the service was deplorable, the food was horrible and the staff needs to be re-trained on how to handle customers. Throughout the entire time being here, we were continuously rushed.
I hope the owner/manager is reading this review as it is important for people wanting to visit, whether you're from out of town or local. Please re-read the one star reviews and re-train your staff in customer service. A thank you for your feedback will do no good to your business with continous awful service/reviews.
