Broadwalk Restaurant on the Beach — Restaurant in Hollywood

If you are looking for a quick pizza place to enjoy your holiday beach day then I would say this is the place but if you're looking for service be prepared to get scammed. We were a group of 8 adults, 2 kids, and 2 toddlers. The service of this restaurant is abysmal, the only rising star of this restaurant is the hostess who is quite the sweetheart but our server Sisi was not. Her lack of attention and explanation leaves you feeling confused. She pretended to not understand or listen to our requests. When told to give the kids a personal slice of pizza she instead gave us a two small pizza and charged us for said two small pizza (36 dollars) for two kids where we specified to give each kid a slice. When we told her to cancel an order of lasagna before she sent the order through to the kitchen she ignored it and sent in the order. When the lasagna was brought to the table we had told her we asked to cancel it and she said if we were to cancel it then she would be charged so we ended up with a lasagna. Finally, she didn't specify that water was not free, this was the tipping point, she had told us bottle water you needed to pay for but for filtered water it was free. We chose the filtered water and we were charged 13 dollars worth of water. When we received the bill let's just say we were astonished. My cousin had told the server that it was unjustified that she failed to explain the water situation. We still paid the bill and the manager came around after to confont my cousin face to face to instigate a fight. We left calmly and the manager backed off.

So if you're in the mood for decent pizza and mediocre pasta then this is the okay place to go. Though I would make sure to prevent yourself from getting scammed I would make sure to clarify with the server what you would like and make sure she understands what you're ordering as she will try to screw you over by pretending not to hear you so that you can give...

The hostess welcomed us warmly into the restaurant but the waiter and “manager” ruined it. Our waitress was a middle aged lady who was rude, secretive, and condescending. Not only did she order two full pizzas for children who requested just a slice, but after canceling a plate while we were still ordering, she brought the plate and told us if we didn’t keep it she would be charged for it herself. Since she made us feel bad, we kept it. But then, after only “explaining” that you could get filtered or bottled water, she charged us almost 15 dollars for 3 jars of water that were never requested. She didn’t explain that filtered water would be charged. When we confronted her about it she just repeated that they only had filtered or bottled water, refusing to understand our issue was that the price was not made clear, and never apologizing. Then she offered to call the owner who she said was sitting a few tables away, and when we requested that, she brought a man over who called himself a “manager”. Not only did this man get into our face, repeating the same thing that they only have filtered or bottled water but he claimed the owner was no longer here. Come to find out that we see this man and the server together on the beach, so that was clearly the only reason she brought him out, because it’s her boyfriend. I doubt he was even the manager. Then when I google and see that this restaurant was involved with an arson attempt, I see the owner who spoke to the news is a lady who was sitting a few tables away from us. So she was there and ignored her staff confronting us, and the staff refused to bring her to us. The horrible service and unwanted confrontation by the waiters boyfriend ruined our dinner and our night. The food was mediocre and the experience makes this place absolutely...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Yesterday, my friend and I went with our teenage sons there for dinner. We ordered the food. 1) it took them forever to take our order we had to call the waitress twice to come to our table. 2) it took them forever to serve our water and even longer to serve our food. 3) the biggest problem was that my friend and I asked for our orders to be takeaways and our sons food to be eaten at the restaurant. Well after waiting forever for the food the finally gave us the takeaways packed inside boxes and places inside a plastic bag that is tightly knotted so it was impossible for me to open it to check inside to make sure our order was correctly. We would have to use a knife to cut the knot. So I specifically asked the waitress if our order was correct and she said yes. By this time, only my friend's son's pizza had arrived and my son was still waiting on his food. The waitress assured me that his food is coming out right away. Well I paid the whole bill and my friend and I left the restaurant with our takeaway bag to go to my mom's house. Our 15 year old boys were still at the restaurant as they wanted to eat there. When I go to my mom's house I got a call from my son saying they accidentally put his food in our takeaway so I told my son to talk to the waitress to quickly make you another order. Can you imagine that the waitress spoke to the manager who said NO???!!! I was livid. I called and spoke with the manager directly explaining everything and he literally hung up on my face without offering to rectify their mistake and they kept my son starving even after he waited so long for his sandwich and he had no money to buy himself food! Was a cheap and shameful service. Please don't give these rude, cheap and inconsiderate people...
