I deliver for DoorDash and recently the supporter made it policy to come inside the lobby at night. I asked very politely if I could please get the order from the window as it was pouring down rain and was told no and then ignored! Similar to the last few times they picked up here, I proceeded to enter the lobby and saw miserable looking associates, walking around cleaning or hiding from view and not even making eye contact, especially just after being told to come inside! 10 minutes went by and I waited that long until I spoke up and asked about my order. I come to find out that had have not even started it until I reminded them! Wow!! The night supervisor/shift manager (slightly heavyset pale skinned white girl in her 20’s either needs to be written up and trained from the beginning seems to be the root of the problem here. She has a very dry and sarcastic attitude, which she the other staff den to be intimidated by, or simply just prefer to stay on her good side. I can see why this is now the lowest rated Taco Bell within a 15 mile radius. Before the changes in staff and policy, I never experienced any issues at this location picking up an order. The contrast is shocking and is boggles my mind to see how quickly this location nosedived!
UPDATE!! These problems have now also spread to the daytime. I assumed this was isolated to towards the night staff, but overall customer service, speed, and ability to keep stations properly stocked is now no more. Whoever is spreading the bad vibes, you’re not doing anyone including yourself a favor. Customers will only be more annoyed with you and you will not come home feeling any happier by being nasty and sarcastic all day ignoring people is wrong and being an absolute nightmare of a role model and taking advantage of your position by exploiting it. I say this because there was one occasion in which the staff exploded suddenly in conversation when I mentioned something, another employee had said. I did not mention any names but they all jumped to conclusions assuming Wei it was and placing blame. This was, however, the only time I actually saw the staff speak to one another. The staff around here now constantly seem to stay quiet and not interact at all with anyone, even when necessary. Please, whoever you are maintaining the hostile/passive attentive environment, do yourself and SoFlo a huge favor and go work somewhere where you don’t feel the constant need to drain the joy out of everyone’s day. Perhaps toll booth operators would but more up your alley. Think about it!?! Seeing it from thestaff’s perspective, this must truly be a nightmare of an environment to work in. You don’t wanna be the ones to make things even worse for yourself by speaking up! Someone needs to be courageous here and step up to the plate with a different attitude! Don’t be afraid, you will not be getting in trouble for doing the right thing and spreading a better attitude. It’s amazing just how many people walk inside the lobby and walk right out after seeing they’re being ignored for quite some time. Doubly, the number of cars I’ve seen back out of the drive-thru line! I kind of wish I could peak at the P&L reports for this quarter just out of curiosity. You would be doing the right thing by notifying the cashier hiding in the back and only coming out with her phone in hand after I’m basically forced to shout out to her or cancel my order! I must say, I haven’t been there fora pick up at night for a while now (purposely),, but I really hope there is at least some improvement because it can’t get any worse! 🙄 The fact that orders are not even started 15 minutes after the ticket has printed is just insane! Customers beware, avoid like the plague, go directly to the Hallandale store right off 95. You will get your food much faster despite the drive and getting in line again! Take it from the delivery driver that has tons of experience at both locations! Hallandale Beach Taco Bell, awesome job and I hope you keep up the...
Read moreOne star is giving this place way too much credit. My wife and I ordered 30 dollars worth of food from DoorDash only to receive maybe a quarter of the items we paid for, and the items we did receive were incorrect almost two hours later (our delivery person waited for our food for almost 45 minutes) We called the restaurant and spoke to a manager named Stephanie who barely seemed interested in our issue, but eventually gave us her personal phone number and promised to replace the entire order for the trouble. The following day, we make a two hour bus trip (we are not local, just passing through) to have our issue resolved, to no avail. After about 20 minutes of going back and forth with a crew member who already seemed annoyed that we had the audacity to come to th counter instead of the kiosk, she finally went and got Stephanie from the back, all the while she was insulting us in creole not knowing my wife is fluent in the language. When Stephanie came out, we were called liars while she laughed with the crew member previously mentioned, we were cussed out and told that we wouldn’t even be receiving half of the items that were missing from the original order and made an insulting comment that my “big bodied” wife didn’t even need the food, as she put it. My wife is pregnant, and we just wanted what was paid for and then promised to us. This is absolutely ridiculous. Get better managers, get better staff. The people you have here aren’t even capable of wiping down the dozen tables that had food and drink residue all over them, and most certainly not capable of fulfilling guest satisfaction or even the basic skill of reading a ticket and packing an order. Don’t mess with peoples time, money, food or try to insult their intelligence, because I promise, you will lose. We will be Pursuing this...
Read moreThis is the worst Taco Bell I have ever visited. When I say worst, that’s an understatement. There are 3 black females that work in there with the most nonchalant, disgusting, and disrespectful attitudes. I ordered through Uber eats for pick up. After 10 minutes I arrived at the drive thru because it was pouring down raining. I asked if it was ok if I picked my order up from the window since it was storming and I was sick. She said “nope come in”. (There we’re no cars in the drive thru either) Ok I parked and went in. One girl says I’m sorry I just made a mistake and deleted all the orders off the screen. I explained to her that I got the notification that my order was ready and it should be ready for me to pick up when I get here. Fast fwd I show her the very simple order and from 4:09 pm to 4:39 pm she continues to make all the other orders that’s coming in. After I finished reading her and giving this unprofessional ignoramus a lesson on customer service she starts making the order incorrectly. Then threw the food in the bag which was spilled all over the place. It took everything in me not to go behind that counter and snatch her soul out of her body since her and the 2 other airheads thought it was so funny. So another 15 minutes goes by and I finally get my order remade for free. Damn near an hour later just to get a meal. However, in the end I didn’t have to pay once I reported them to Uber eats. Just very sad. I’m a young black woman myself and yes I understand it happens with all races but from MY experience it has been horrible customer service from several Taco Bell’s and they all were young,...
