I told my son he could have whatever he wants to eat for his birthday yesterday, and he chose Firehouse subs... I live next to Dania Pointe so I placed an online order and went to pick it up at the time it said it would be ready. It was ready and I took it back to my house. I thought it was clever that the online order gives you the option to put initials for each sub, because my son and his friend both wanted meatball but my son wanted the spicy one. When I got back to the house I was beyond shocked the size of the subs... we did order small, thinking it would be 6in but they were more like 3-4 in and for $7.50 each! You can get a footlong at subway for that price. I figured they have to be amazing. However, we all ordered white bread and received wheat. I called and asked why, and they proceeded to tell me they were out of white but never told me.... my phone number is on the receipt. On top of that we didn't get the pickle that comes on the side. One sandwich said no pickle so they didn't put them with any of them. Also, we couldn't tell the difference between the spicy meatball and the regular meatball because they didn't put the initials on the boxes and they were completely identical... looks like they were the same sub and just cut it. I ordered the Italian and it came hot, I wanted it cold.... Maybe that is not an option? Plus there was barely any meat....didn't even look like an Italian. I will never waste my money there again.....It's a rip off. Any sub place beats...

I went here yesterday with a friend and ordered two large combos, a medium sandwich and a side of macaroni and cheese. On my way to my destination I noticed my sandwich was incorrect (I ordered the Engineer). We returned and when I informed the cashier Shanicia she got upset and walked off with an attitude. She began saying that she heard the New York Steamer, I explained to her that I order the Engineer because I do not eat pork and even asked her if it was possible to sauté the onion along with the mushrooms. She was still upset and instead of simply saying it was a misunderstanding and making my sandwich over she proceed to call me a “btch”. I began recording shortly after. The manager Mel heard and came out attempting to deescalate the situation, but failed. She continued to say “ngga”, “f*ck” and other obscene profane language all while I was recording in front on her manager and told me to wait right there while she “call her mother” to come for me then went to the back. The only accommodations for my time being wasted for traveling back from Fort Lauderdale (I had a flight to catch and hadn’t eaten all day) and being verbally abused was that he’ll just make my sandwich over. He asked me to wait outside while he made it. I didn’t even eat it because I did not trust it. The customer service is appalling. I’ve already called corporate and will follow up with them I will also be posting the video on social media because her behavior was...

I received an offer from T-Mobile for a free, medium hook and ladder sub with the purchase of a drink/chips. I went to the location in Dana point on Sunday after 2 PM. this was my first time at firehouse subs, I usually go to Subway! There were a few people waiting for their subs at this location, and then there was panic when someone’s sub was given to the wrong person, and they left the shop! A young woman came to assist me at the register/order point, and informed me there was no ham, and it would take 20 to 30 minutes for them to make my sub! I declined to wait and said I would return tomorrow. The next day, Monday. I arrived at 12 noon. Now they had a sign that said no ham, most of the chip rack was empty, and there were only four bottles of diet Sprite in the cooler. I gave the young man my order, but since they didn’t have ham, they would double the turkey, I told him I wanted everything on my sub, except for mayonnaise and mustard, and replace those condiments with ranch dressing. I also purchased a fountain drink, and sun chips, it was the last bag! After approximately 10 minutes, he called my name, I left with my sub. When I reached home and looked at the sub, it only had lettuce and turkey on it! I told a friend about my experience, and he said, I know they’re terrible. I don’t know how they stay in business! And in the future, I will stick with subway, even if I have to...

Located in the Dania Pointe plaza, Firehouse Subs is a casual restaurant chain that specializes in a variety of specialty subs, sides, salads, kids combos, fountain drinks, and cookies. They also cater. Customers are required to wear their masks upon entering. There are limited seating inside and must be spaced 6ft apart when ordering. The employees were pleasant as they each were making the customer's orders in a timely manner. After overlooking the menu on the wall, I decided to try a medium Firehouse Meatball. It took a few minutes to receive my order. When I got inside my vehicle, I took a peek at my meatball sub. First of all, it smell really good. It was placed neatly in a sub container where I can see all its yumminess (not all squished up where the meatballs are playing peek-a-boo at...I'm not saying where). The meatballs in this sub was nice and hot, covered in a flavorful marinara sauce (I took a small bite after the pic), melted provolone cheese, and spices in a soft, lightly toasted roll. I look forward on devouring this during my lunchbreak, and I also look forward on returning to try another specialty sub.

Had to pay with my credit card because their chip reader doesn't work and the strip on my debit card doesn't work and the cashier didn't know how to enter the numbers manually. I ordered a new York steamer and asked to add onions, the cashier tells me it already comes with onions (it doesn't) but asked if I want to add "salted" (sautéed) onions so I say yes. I watch SAUTÉED onions pop up on the register and everything. Cashier still has to go get the manager?(I'm assuming) because there aren't gloves big enough for him. She comes out and informs me they are out of pastrami, asked if I wanted a different sub or if corned beef was ok and I told her corned beef was fine. I wait close to 10 minutes for my food, no big deal, but when I get home there are not only no onions but also no cheese, the only other part to the sandwich, it's just mayonnaise, mustard, super thin slice of meat and bread. WHAT WERE THEY MAKING FOR 10 MINUTES?! Anyway long story longer, I paid $15 for one of the worst sandwiches and Mac and cheese I've ever had. Still starving and now I have to order delivery from postmates.
