Tony the manager here is terrible. I purchased a box activity set and when I asked the cashier if there was anything they could do since the box was broken she said she would call the manager over. The manager who came over was a women but she only spoke to the cashier and said its already half off. I said I didn't realize that but okay I'll take it as is. The cashier rang it up and I left not checking and the item rang up full price. When I went back to the store they said I needed to have known the manager's name because they can't honor the price adjustment even though the cashier who helped me was right there and confirmed that the manager that day said it was 50% off. When they called the manager Tony over he said no one on his team would ever offer 50% off and that this item is never on sale. Tony then again asked for the manager's name I said I don't know her name since she didn't address me directly. So the staff here will straight up lie to you even when their team is there and can confirm what happened simply because I don't have the manager's name. When I suggested he check the date and time of the manager who was working to speak with them about the things they offer to customer's he said he wouldn't do that because no one on his team would offer such a discount. Read moreWent in yesterday and wanted to buy some blind boxes and a few pieces of furniture. I have been shopping here for years and never really had a problem until yesterday. There was a lot of people in line, And it looked like they were two people working one lady was still ringing people up, but her lines are closed, So I went to the other person Doing checkouts and there was a family in front of me and they were checking out and then the lady with the line closed said she would take some people, so I waited a few seconds to make sure there was no one else in front of me and the family decided to leave their line rushed and cut me off to check out, but they were already being helped which I’m not understanding why that happened anyway the cashier then proceeded to say that they were there first which makes zero sense to me When clearly they weren’t and they were already being helped. Meanwhile, the line was already filling up in the other checkout line again so I put all my stuff down and walked out. And it’s mind-boggling to me that the manager who were standing at the front doing absolutely nothing couldn’t jump in and start checking people out because there was a lot of people. So I will no longer be back to Hobby lobby I don’t appreciate how the customer service handled everything. I grew up going to Pearl Paint in NYC and so when my family migrated south I was worried about where we could shop. We discovered Michael's and Jo'ann's Fabrics..but that's 2 different places in 2 different cities! So when I heard of Hobby Lobby my young adult children were very concerned about the company's reputation. In the end I finally caved in and visited the location in Dania Pointe. I was amazed at the size, organization, cleanliness, variety and company's presence of mind to have ALL you could possibly need to Craft, Paint, Crochet and Draw that my family needed plus FABRICS!! They have aisles of artificial plants and flowers, memorabilia, gift ideas, DECORATIONS FOR THE HOME. They have an area for the items that are going out of season..like the sale started a day or two before the 25th and it was 50^ off so I grabbed as much as I could. Please visit this store. See...
