Let me tell you about the absolute NIGHTMARE of an experience I had with Tesla Nail Salon in Dania Beach! My first couple of visits with a nail tech named Kevin were actually very good, which is why I even bothered going back. Oh, how I regret that ...
The first sign of trouble should have been the day I booked an appointment online through their own system, drove all the way there, only to find the doors LOCKED and the lights OFF. No note, no call, no email – NOTHING. Their online booking system happily took my appointment, and I wasted my time and gas for absolutely no reason. I even sent an email afterward asking what in the world happened, and guess what? Radio silence. Not a single response.
Foolishly, perhaps clinging to the memory of those appointments with Kevin, I decided to give them ONE MORE CHANCE a week later. I went online, saw their website still claiming to be the "#1 Nail Salon in Dania Beach", advertising their hours, and I PURCHASED A $100 GIFT CARD for a friend's birthday. I then proceeded to book another appointment online for myself and one for my friend whom I got the gift card for.
You can imagine my utter disbelief and RAGE when I arrived for my second appointment to find… NOTHING. Not just locked doors and dark windows this time. Oh no. The ENTIRE PLACE looked like it had been abandoned in a hurry. All the signage was GONE. There were FOR SALE signs plastered in the windows. It was a complete ghost town.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How dare this so-called business take my $100 for a gift card when they are clearly OUT OF BUSINESS?! And to add insult to injury, their website is STILL up, claiming they are open until 8 PM tonight and will reopen at 9 AM tomorrow! This is beyond unprofessional; it's downright THEFT and blatant DECEPTION.
The owners of Tesla Nail Salon in Dania Beach owe me $100. Their complete lack of communication, the fact that their online systems are still functioning to take appointments and money while they are clearly defunct, and their misleading website are all HUGE red flags. They clearly have zero respect for their customers and are perfectly happy to take your money and run.
DO NOT, under any circumstances, patronize this establishment if they ever decide to resurface or open under a new name. They are unethical, dishonest, and clearly do not care about anything but ripping people off. Consider yourselves warned. I can say that he was the only person that cared about the situation. The lady that did my nails did them crooked and nothing what I wanted. I even showed her a picture before I sat down and specified exactly how I wanted my nails, when I told her to fix whatever I wasn’t happy with she then ignored me and continue doing my nails. I wasn’t happy with the service on top of that. I felt like it was rushed. I was the last one there and she was just doing everything so fast. All my nails work crooked, and none of them look like each other. The picture that I asked for was completely different from the nail so I actually got done….. I asked to speak with the manager yet there was no manager, or anybody of a higher level for me to talk to. I wanted to speak with someone because I was not happy paying for the service that I got, they even called the police on me even though I told her I wanted her to finish my nails, exactly how I want them and I didn’t mind paying for them. I just wanted them exactly how I wanted them. But she clearly was t capable of doing that…… the owner never spoke to me never cared about customer service that they were giving me. She just wanted the money. She said she was only gonna take five dollars off knowing that my nails were completely crooked and they don’t care about the clients. They just want the money so if you ever have an issue with them, they’re not gonna solve it for you. They’re going to tell you to pay for everything even if you do not like the service. I definitely won’t be coming to the salon ever again in my life and I will definitely don’t recommend anybody if you’re looking to have something specific done to your nails, please ask questions before you sit down with these people because they are not professionals at all. The customer satisfaction is nowhere in their interest!!!!!!! Read moreI had the absolute worst experience at this salon today. I arrived around 1:15 PM, and what should’ve been a simple mani and pedicure turned into a nightmare. Victor started with my toes. While they weren’t great, I didn’t think much of it because they were just okay—not worth complaining about.
However, when it came time to do my nails, everything went downhill fast. I asked for medium to short-length French tips, similar to what I had on my toes. Victor said okay and started working on my nails. But as he began filing, he was so rough that he kept hitting the skin on the sides of my nails, cutting into it repeatedly. It was extremely painful, and despite my discomfort, he kept going. He eventually opened up a painful gash on my finger that started bleeding and still hurts.
When I finally saw my nails, I was in shock. They were beyond bad—crooked, uneven lengths, filled with bubbles, and the surface was lumpy. Worse, parts of the nails were already chipping, as if I’d had them on for weeks, even though they were fresh. I was so upset that I left the salon in tears.
After leaving, I called the salon and asked to come back to have them soaked off and get a refund. They said sure, so I returned, hoping to resolve the issue. When I got there, Victor denied that anything was wrong with the nails, even though they were visibly terrible. Another technician insisted on fixing them. I repeatedly told her no, that I wanted them removed and a refund, but she wouldn’t stop insisting. After telling her no about 10 times, she kept pushing and finally convinced me to let her fix them with a simple pink gloss.
After she finished, we went to check out, and instead of the refund I was promised, she handed me a $20 gift card. Mind you, I had spent $140 on my nails and toes. When I refused the gift card and asked for the refund on my card as originally agreed, she only refunded me $20. At that point, I was exhausted from arguing and just wanted to leave. I ended up leaving the salon around 5:30 PM, after an incredibly frustrating ordeal.
I’ll never go back to this salon, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The level of unprofessionalism and poor quality of service I experienced is completely unacceptable, especially for the price I paid.
