I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent visit to Outback Steakhouse. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below the standards.
The only reason why we came to this location is because we were having an early dinner because my father wanted a decent steak for dinner! Boy did we regret it!
Firstly, the issue began before we were even seated. Despite putting our name on the waitlist, we watched as three big parties—who arrived well after us—were seated before us. This lack of organization from the front of house staff was both frustrating and unprofessional. It’s disheartening that such a simple task as seating guests in the proper order could not be managed. The host didn’t even know what they were even doing! Your “front of your house” is the face of your restaurant and having people that are not even remotely capable of doing a simple task says a lot!
Once seated, The beverages were equally disappointing. My soda was flat, and despite requesting ice three times, we only received it after an unreasonable delay. Additionally, we had to wait 10 minutes just for basic drinks like iced tea and soda.
The food quality was unacceptable. My husband’s meal was served cold, which is simply inexcusable for a restaurant of this caliber. To make matters worse, there was a hair in my son’s mac and cheese, which was both unhygienic and distressing. My baked potato was hotter than my steak. And to top it off the baked potato was a bit raw in the middle!
The busser walked past our table without clearing our salad plates, despite them being clearly finished. We had to wave her down to get assistance.
The service left much to be desired. The server was inattentive and barely checked on our table throughout the meal. This lack of attentiveness only added to the overall poor experience.
Could you clarify the role of the server at this restaurant? It seems their primary task is taking orders, as they don't deliver drinks or food to the table—those tasks are handled by runners. While I understand using runners during busy times, let's be honest: part of a server's job typically includes bringing customers their food and drinks. Who exactly are we supposed to tip when the servers don't seem to handle much of the service?
As if all of this weren’t bad enough, upon leaving, the owner/manager Jose ran after us in a combative manner, seemingly eager to explain himself. At that point, I wasn’t in the mood to hear any excuses. I simply wanted to leave after enduring such an appalling experience.
Overall, this visit was an immense letdown, but this is what I would expect when dining at Outback Steakhouse. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and implements improvements to avoid disappointing other customers in the future.
All these 5 star reviews must be from people who do NOT know what a real steak house is!
So with that being said I will NEVER return to an Outback Steak House!
P.S. whoever reads these reviews please do NOT answer me back with the same excuse that you give all your negative reviews! You should take time and answer every review in a professional manner and not just copy and paste the...

Upon being seated, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff members who made me feel welcome and ensured my dining experience would be memorable. The restaurant's cozy and inviting ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the prime rib. The moment it arrived at my table, I knew I was in for a treat. The prime rib was perfectly cooked to my requested medium-rare, with a beautiful charred crust that sealed in all the flavors. The cut was generous, tender, and incredibly juicy, making each bite an explosion of succulent meaty goodness.
What impressed me the most was the exceptional seasoning and the perfect balance of flavors. The prime rib was expertly seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices that complemented the meat without overpowering it. The seasoning enhanced the natural richness of the prime rib, creating a taste that was both robust and satisfying.
Accompanying the prime rib was a selection of delectable sides. The creamy mashed potatoes were velvety and indulgent, while the steamed vegetables provided a refreshing contrast. Each component of the meal was executed with precision, showcasing the chef's dedication to delivering a well-rounded dining experience.
The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure my satisfaction. They were more than willing to answer any questions I had and provide recommendations, further enhancing my dining experience.

It was so upsetting we gave up on Outback even after 2 1/2 months. I contacted corporate. They sent my concerns to the manager Jose. Technically when I feel this way I'm just done, however I went ahead and listened to him. I'm glad I did. He genuinely cares about the service they give. He was disappointed to hear what happened. He actually identified who the server was at the time. He will use this as a training opportunity. He identified with my feelings of throwing our money away. As with most people now, we pick and choose those expenses wisely. He knew it jaded me against going to any Outback. He said he would mail something. How many people say that but don't. Happily surprised I received his envelope. I now have Something to replace what I lost. I believe if we go to Dania Beach again he will be there to assure all is as before, good food and service. Based on the other 4 times 5* and the last time 1, I am increasing my review to 4 based on his corrections. Plus 1 out of 5 below standard. If you travel, stop by Dania Beach. Be sure to reach out to manager on site if you aren't happy.
Older-I had to update this old review from 5 star to 1 star. We went back the night before a cruise for dinner around 4 pm, on 12/21/23. The waitress came to us very fast however after that she was MIA. We got the onion and drinks from the food runner about 15 minutes later but it all ended there. The restaurant got busier. After being there 30 minutes we had to get someone to go the bar and get her. She came over and said she forget to take the rest of the order. Now it is 5 and no food in sight. I get ill with low blood sugar. I have a food runner get the waitress to get the food packaged to go WHENEVER IT FINALLY GETS DONE. Then at 5:20 the bag of food comes. We get the hotel. The shrimp was burned. They gave some crazy brown green dill sauce instead of marmalade shrimp sauce. No silverware. No ketchup. No salt or pepper. What a waste of money. We have no plans to return to any Outback. When we went there that last 3 years they were so happy cruisers returned. Now they are back bigger than ever they don't...
