The decor of this place is worth going to see. The camping theme is really fun and they had hints of LGBTQ things around. I loved that they wanted everyone to feel included and comfortable there. The cashier was very nice. She asked if I wanted anything on my bagel and I said cream cheese. I assumed it would be toasted and have a container of cream cheese on the side and a knife but that wasn’t the case. I got a very cold bagel with way more cream cheese on it than I could stomach. The bagel was delicious but definitely would have been better toasted. They have every kind of bagel for sale that you can imagine and then some. The prices were quite steep compared to most other places I visit. A large cold brew coffee was $8 but it was very tasty. The blueberry bagel with cream cheese was $5.35.

March 4th I was excited to see that there was gluten-free options at this establishment. I ended up calling in for a godfather with a gluten-free wrap. I drove in to Honesdale approximately 15 minutes and when I arrived they had switched the order instead of a wrap put it on a gluten-free sandwich. This was a big disappointment I was getting the food for my wife who has been at work all day. on top of that they charged me$10.87 for the small sandwich. I will not be returning to this business as I will support other local businesses that will take care of their customers. I was not offered a refund I was not offered any additional items for their mess up. no wonder why local businesses are dying.

Breakfast time! Up in Honesdale in Northeast PA is Camp Umpy’s Bagels & Stuff! I love themed cafes and restaurants, so as soon as I had originally found them online I knew I had to stop in. It had the same cabin and lake vibes that you would feel at summer camp and the lovely staff was so warm and welcoming. It’s impossible to not be a happy camper during a visit to Camp Umpys! Since our first visit, we try to make a stop there every time we are in the Honesdale area and to this day is one of my highest recommendations for those visiting. If you are ever in the area, a meal at Camp Umpys is a must!

For those with Celiac Disease: My order was taken by the elder of two women who were both working the counter during lunch. In my original order of a Camp Club, I asked what their GF options were for that item. After the options were given, I decided to have it on a GF tortilla. When I was first served, the tortilla looked suspicious. I decided that I should ask for confirmation that my wrap was made GF. In response, I was rudely told I never ordered a gluten free wrap by the younger woman working the counter (who wasn't even at the counter during our order, as she had briefly went into the kitchen). The elder woman said nothing in my defense. I understand that mistakes happen, so I asked politely for a new wrap with a GF tortilla. The younger woman (who appeared to be in charge) brought me my GF wrap and didn't bother speaking a word, even after I apologized for any confusion and thanked her for the re-make. The portion of the GF wrap was HALF the size of the non-GF wrap I was originally given (the tortillas were comparable in size). The wrap was quite tasty, the only reason I gave 3 stars. Poor customer service and a much smaller portion on a GF wrap for the same price as a flour wrap are...

I decided to update my review since the last time I left the review unfortunately they service. Their customer service has gone down the drain. I gotta tell you I walk in there and I think she’s the owner. She just has this expression on her face as though she’s just not happy that I walked in -the older woman that handles the cashier or takes orders over the phone is pleasant, but I think it’s the owner so this is the woman with the short blonde hair. She just has this face. The face just looks like it’s like she wants to say why are you here -anyways not the greatest service I asked for a sleeve for my iced coffee(bc I don’t want water dripping all over my fingers and the cup holder of my vehicle). Im told they don’t have a sleeve. It’s not for the iced beverage it’sfor the hot coffee. You gotta step it up you really gotta step it up. Honesdale is progressing. It’s becoming bigger. We have an influx of people that are from the city. Their bagels are not $.75 so I expect a certain level of service when I’m ordering a bagel and a coffee that cost $12-$13. Bottom line despite the bagel options being pretty good, I’m not gonna support their small little business because the customer...

First time visiting. Very cute inside. Clean. Had a difficult time reading the menu boards. Too many colors. Items were not in readable fashion. It should be printed. I asked a young girl if they had a hard copy of the menu to make it easier for me to decide what I wanted. She told me I had to go online to find one. Later on, I discovered there is one posted in the front window. I could have gone out there to decide my breakfast first. I never noticed it going in. My bagel wasn't toasted. Stupid me for assuming it would be. The egg was skimpy, and the cheese was hard to find. The coffee was very good although I prefer to fix it myself. Note to order taker: When taking an order, be suggestive. Never assume the customer has been there before. Walk the customer through the process. Suggestive sell. She was friendly but only wanted to know what I wanted. I wasn't even sure I ordered what I wanted. I was disappointed with the final product. And the service was on the slow side. I was finished w my breakfast by the time my companions finally came outside with theirs. Bottom line; decide what you want and how you want it before you get...
