i am obsessed with this gelato spot! great place to take visitors or stop for dessert after dinner in town. really nice texture and flavors are good, although i wish they had their rotating flavors posted somewhere online.

unfortunately, the past couple visits have been a little rough (though i’m not going to knock a star for this). the first mess up was one of the workers scooped the blue razz instead of bilberry cheesecake even after repeating my order (which i didn’t realize until afterwards). not a big deal but kind of a bummer since 1) it didn’t go well with the ube at all 2) was looking forward to it as we don’t live in the area

the next visit, the same worker spent a while scooping our gelato and kind of struggled with the portion sizing, resulting in a lot of spillage on the sides of the cup and us having to wait awkwardly while the line built up behind us. i’m going to give this worker the benefit of the doubt (maybe they’re new) but these experiences have made me reluctant to visit as...

i stoped by to see if the hype is real… found myself in turmoil. first of all, my 3 star rating is ‘ok to good’ experience. This place is definitely unique, their gelato is kept on a constant stir, i think to keep the stored temp a bit lower and to maintain the fluffier/airy texture. this results in a very moist+wet texture. i would say just a bit more firm than a soft serve, definitely softer and lighter than traditional ice cream. i had mixed feelings about this because it doesn’t hold texture for long, it becomes very runny, enough to equal a milkshake. i was looking for a straw. also, because of the airiness, volume wise, there is not much gelato there for 6+ bucks for two tiny scoops. oz by oz, this may be the most expensive gelato you have ever purchased. just beware if you are value conscious. flavors are good to great, just beware it quickly becomes...

This place is ridiculous. I really wanted to like this place, especially since the staff was super friendly. I came here last week. One of the girls even let me try several samples, which I appreciated a lot. But unfortunately, the cleanliness really threw me off. While I was ordering, I noticed small cockroaches around the counter area and there were quite a few flies inside the store. It made me uncomfortable and concerned about the hygiene. Honestly, I’m giving it 2 stars only because of how nice the workers were, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back unless they seriously improve their cleanliness. **Also, I think it’s very embarrassing that the owner uses his own account to write a review.
