Five Stars!!

Fast facts: SERVICE: 10/10 LOCATION: 10/10 PARKING: 10/10 (Validated in a lot) ATMOSPHERE: 10/10 Happy Hour: 5-6 PM (You can purchase a $30 wine card that is worth $50) Live music daily at 8 PM (Please support by throwing a few bucks :))

Amuse Wine Bar has been a few of my friends/colleagues go to spot to just enjoy and have a great time and I hope you will too. We recently came here for my birthday and they provided us such great service, and also went above and beyond by allowing us to migrate from the seating area overlooking the main road of the design center to the seating area inside as soon as the live music started performing. They were even so nice to provide you a birthday dessert and if you bring your own they are able to cut/slice it and place them on individual plates for everyone.

The staff was all so personable, attentive and considerate. They all had their own unique personality and character that made them shine, I wish I recall all of their names but was having too much of a great time :)

If you're expecting to come here with a big group I recommend coming on off days (not close to the weekend :P), we came on a tuesday, and we had no problems finding a place to sit.

Food: Definitely try everything on the happy hour food menu, that's what most of us ordered off of, because we spent more time on the wine, and most of the plates on the happy hour menu were small plates.

-YUKARI SPICED CALAMARI- & -EDAMAME- & -PATATAS BRAVAS- Great to share with everyone (Although not on the happy hour menu the -TRUFFLE'D FRIES- is a great dish to share also and honestly it's just $8 basically a happy hour price like the others) -ROAST PORK KIWALE- was great a great balance of whole cut tomato slices and pork. -AVOCADO TOAST- was great, goes well with red wine it, it comes with two slices.

Not happy hour menu plates: -KIM CHEE GRILLED CHEESE- It goes surprisingly well with the wine, I had it with white, make sure you ask them to have the kim-chee inside the grilled cheese as you have the option -ROASTED CAULIFLOWER- I took a gamble on this and it wasn't that bad, it paired well with the hummus-like sauce they had the cauliflower on, mind you-it may taste burnt as it is roasted but I enjoyed it. -SHISO CURED LOX- Not your typical lox and bagel but better, this I really enjoyed as well

Overall, definitely a regular here, I highly recommend this place, especially when your looking to have a great time with friends, coworkers, or just need to wind down. Expect your tab to be on the high side here and there but hey you work hard, you enjoy hard! TREAT YO SELF (insert year you are reading this...

Let me start off by saying that if you’re considering going to Amuse, just go. If you live locally, go and you’ll find a new go-to spot in town that actually has convenient parking and doesn’t leave you wrestling with people on Kalakaua. If you’re visiting, go and enjoy great food near the primary tourist hubs while experiencing a genuinely one-of-a-kind dining experience that will make your trip that much more memorable.

If you’re able to stop by Amuse Wine Bar, you’re in for a great meal, excellent drinks and unbeatable service. If you have the excellent luck of having Haley as your bartender and server, then your whole experience will be further elevated. While I’ve come to expect a lot from Amuse based on the consistently high quality, Haley’s service and expertise took that expectation up another notch.

Amuse has excellently curated dishes- especially the appetizers and desserts. If I had to choose just one dish to live on for the rest of my life, the fried brussel sprouts would immediately come to mind! If that’s not enough, the desserts featured here are the quality, appearance and taste of what you’d expect to see in a culinary arts textbook or on competitive patisserie shows. Pastry chef Cainan Sabey has a great array, and Amuse serves their creations in generous portions at fair prices for what you’re getting.

Haley was able to describe every dish and drink in precise detail and was even able to paraphrase and further elaborate so that I could pair exactly what I wanted among the various drinks and dishes. I’ve been to Amuse a few times over the years and I can’t stress enough how great it is to have a reliable go-to spot in Waikiki that has great atmosphere and excellent food and drink every single time. Haley was kind, gracious, knowledgeable and professional- if she serves you, trust her judgement and recommendations. She won’t let you down!

If you’re wanting to get 5 star service and 5 star quality without completely compromising your wallet, definitely head to Amuse. I can’t stress...

We came here for drinks, appetizers, & desserts and it was perfect! Amuse Wine bar is connected to Stage restaurant. Amuse is their sister store that is great for a more chill, fun ambiance. Stage restaurant is more fancy with a full dinner menu.

The ambiance, decor, and service was just amazing. All of the decor and installation art is so exotic and interesting. We had so much fun just sitting and looking around.

The drinks. They have an expansive wine list with many options to order by the glass for a tasting or by the bottle if you know what you're looking for. I did a wine tasting which was great! My friends ordered the Home Sweet Home with Lilikoi rim. This drink was DELICIOUS. The lilikoi rim was chefs kiss

The food. We ordered one appetizer: the Patatas Bravas. I had high hopes for this dish. I order this at any restaurant that has it available. This was by far the most interesting twist I have see on patatas bravas. The katsuobushi is so cool because when it's hot it moves a lot so the dish was moving as we were eating it. None of us really liked this dish that much, but it wasn't too disappointing either. We definitely still ate most of it because we were hungry.

The dessert. We ordered one dessert: the Warm Dutch Apple Banana Crumble. This was absolutely incredible. The combination of the horchata ice cream and warm applewood smoked carmel sauce over the cinnamon oatmeal crumble was perfection. I wanted to lick the plate!

The location is a bit difficult to find. We walked around the entire building struggling to find the entrance. We ended up having to walk through a large garage parking lot in order to find the entrance.

I cannot wait to be back, but next time I hope to try out the...

You can get a $50 card for $30 here to try all the different wines they have in the bar area at your own convenience during their happy hour times. It's a fun way to try a variety of wines, especially more expensive ones that you might not ever buy a full bottle of at a store. The food here is good but comes in fairly small portions in the bar. There is a full service restaurant next door called Stage though. They also have cocktails and beers if you're not into wine so everyone can find something they like to drink here! The ambiance is nice, particularly when they have live music which you can enjoy from either the main bar area or the Bamboo Room so bring your friends, grab a glass of wine (or two!), and relax and enjoy 🍷
