Bogart's Café is a fantastic cafe that is worth visiting. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the quality of the food is excellent, which makes it an ideal place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
The bagel sandwich at Bogart's Café is particularly amazing. The bagel is fresh and chewy. It is packed with various ingredients, including lettuce, tomato, onion, and pastrami, all of which blend together perfectly. It's no surprise that this sandwich is a crowd-pleaser and one of the main reasons people come to this cafe.
The restrooms in the establishment are well-maintained and clean, which is a reflection of the cafe's overall hygiene standards. This also proves that the staff takes pride in the cafe's presentation.
Another thing worth mentioning regarding Bogart's Cafe is the kind service provided by its employees. The staff is courteous and always willing to assist customers in any possible way they can. It is an essential factor that adds to the cafe's overall warmth and makes your experience much more enjoyable.
The menu at Bogart's Cafe is extensive, and it offers a wide range of options to satisfy every taste. All dishes are freshly made, and the ingredients are locally sourced. This is an excellent way of promoting small local businesses while ensuring that the food is of the highest quality.
In conclusion, I would give Bogart's Cafe a perfect 5 rating. It has an incredible atmosphere, and the food is fresh and delicious. The restrooms are hygienic and clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It is an excellent place to grab a quick breakfast or brunch, and I highly recommend it...
Read moreLove the Acai bowl here. I have been coming here for over a decade and I have to lower the 5-star review to a 3. Don't get me wrong - the food is amazing. The problem is that I now find myself standing in line to order while they have one person that takes orders while simultaneously making all of the fu fu coffees. Each coffee takes 1 to 2 minutes while everyone stands there watching and waiting to order.
There was a second girl making acai bowls and taking phone orders. So instead of taking the orders of the 10 people waiting in line, I watched her take 3 phone orders and tell the people on the phone that their food would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I almost took my phone out and called her 5 feet from me to order my acai bowl to go to see if she would put 2 and 2 together.
I'm really bummed to have to lower my review rating because I really do love this place but you either need to fix the system or hire more help.
UPDATE: I'm back up to a 4-star review and will totally move it back to a 5-star once they fix the register/cappuccino issue. When someone in line orders a foofie coffee, the attendant at the register has to make it while everyone else in line waits to order. That system is terrible and frustrates the customers. When it is busy, have a dedicated barista another dedicated register attendant and you will be unstoppable. Food is still amazing and the acai bowl is hands down, the best...
Read moreGreat food with below average service. My wife and I went here twice (once for dining and once for takeout) and I can assure you, dear reader, that this place needs a logistic overhaul.
Firstly, the breakfast food is four stars. In both of our outings, we can say the loco moco and papa's fried rice are outstanding. The waffle and pancake with hapui sauce are the sweet breakfast items of which dreams are made. The acai bowl and the breakfast sandwich bagel are fine, but not standouts (though my wife notes the onions, which she requested as an add-on, were thoughtfully grilled on the breakfast sandwich).
So why the three stars? Well, the service is, to quote Joe Namath, struggggggggling. It's two stars at best. When we went for dine-in, our waters were perpetually empty and it took a while to place our orders. Furthermore, two people sitting next to us left after 15+ plus minutes of no service. The wait staff was nice, but slow/absent. To further this point, the takeout order took over 35 minutes for pancakes, papa's fried rice and an acai bowl. The food was worth the wait but just barely.
My advice: Go, but prepare to wait to be seated and for food. When we left for our sit down meal (arrived at 1030am), there were 10+ seats open but those waiting hadn't been seated yet.
The restaurant nailed the food but the logistics remains a...
