Located across the Moana Surfrider Hotel (Besides Crocs) is this small breakfast nook that offers outdoor sitting (4-5 tables). It is shaded, cool tourist ambiance. It’s such a perfect place for people who needs a quick bite or cup of coffee and not paying the high waikiki price. They offer “croissant waffle” that almost have a “mochi” consistency when you chew on it. I had the hawaiian which is a classic with fresh berries but the thing that makes it special is the home made macadamia syrup— it is divine! The choco-holic waffle is a must have for kids or those who just wants nutella for breakfast! There is also an excuse for a full-on dessert with their shave ice that have a dole whip ice cream in the center. It comes with toppings like mochi and popping bobas on the side. The plentiful condensed milk they pour (which is a boomerang-insta pic worthy) balanced the flavor.
For the coffee lovers, all the classic favorite are there and i believe the use honolulu coffee beans.

Read moreSuch good food but literally the worst customer service I’ve received since I got on vacation. I clearly asked for an açaí bowl with no granola as I have an allergy. The guy at the counter around 7:30pm on 2/16 cut me off to tell me the price. Whatever. I paid and waited my turn. When I went to get my bowl I double checked if there was no granola. In a condescending tone I was told yeah there’s granola. I explained how I asked for no granola when I ordered and he questioned me for a good thirty seconds. “Me? You asked me for no granola? Are you sure?” Yes. I’m sure. I have an allergy. He responded with “I guess I can make you another one.” Again, whatever. I waited again and when he sat down my new bowl he angrily threw the old one into the trash and stormed out. When the girl working asked what happened, I explained and said it wasn’t my fault if it was made wrong when I clearly asked for no granola and that I have an allergy. She then told me she was sorry I was having a rough night. How about sorry your employee just talked to me like a 5 year old? I’m just trying to prevent an allergic reaction. Definitely will...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of stopping by Kai Fresh in Waikiki, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! Not only was the acai bowl the best I’ve ever had – fresh, vibrant, and loaded with amazing toppings – but the customer service made it even better.
A special shoutout to Tommy, Kat, and Ki, who went above and beyond to make my visit incredible. Tommy’s welcoming smile set the tone the moment I walked in. Kat’s attention to detail and her passion for creating the perfect bowl were so impressive. And Ki? Ki’s upbeat energy and ability to keep everything flowing smoothly even during a busy rush were remarkable.
It’s clear that this team takes pride in what they do, and it shows in both the quality of the food and their exceptional customer service. Whoever is in charge at Kai Fresh – these three are absolute rock stars and 100% deserve a promotion or recognition for their hard work and dedication!
Thank you, Kai Fresh team, for such an amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back (probably every day...
