ReMixx Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Honolulu

Had a less than ideal experience at The Mixx. We had a very good experience with a female bartender roughly one week ago (10/4), and came in tonight (10/11) hoping for a repeat. This was not the case. The male bartender was very standoffish and aloof, and seemed to be too busy socializing with friends to provide service to newcomers. Numerous signs posted outside the bar and on the menus advertised a dollar off 'happy hour special' for all beers between 2-7 PM. We had arrived by 6:50 PM, but the bartender brusquely told us that this special is "no longer happening," and refused to honor the promotion. The ambiance was atrocious, with random people napping in booths and raunchy, obscene comedy playing on netflix on the bar TV sets. I don't believe we will...

Service was normal, music was very loud for being there while it was empty during the day. Ordered the loco moco there. Gravy tasted like it was cooked in old dishes. Beef patty was pretty over cooked and the egg was undercooked with the egg white still running. The dish was %80 rice. Definitely overcharging for the insufficient amount of food given per dish. 2 sliders alone would run almost $20, loco moco was $17 for a ball of rice and a few toppings that just...

We had a private event at Remixx. We ordered catering style and the food was terrific. A highlight on the menu is definitely the corned beef fried rice and the smoked meats.

But what sets this place apart is the service. We set up our event with Kapiolani. She was helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. The night of the event all the servers on staff were so friendly and always keeping the tables clean.

This place fit our event of about 50 people...
