Fantastic bar/lounge. Love the chill-yet-sophisticated atmosphere combined with natural and urban textures. Live music. Trivia night. This place has it all to keep you coming back any day of the week. Also, best part is that it's not overly crowded. Tucked away in an alleyway in Kaka'ako, the location adds to the "hipness" of the place. House cocktails are delicious with something to suit most any palate, but a full bar with plenty of options for those with particular or simple tastes. I had their take in a whiskey sour called the Lady Bo$$. The maraschino cherry and egg whites combine to make this a velvety smooth drink. I ended up having at least three of them (if not maybe four) without even thinking about it. So delicious. My fiancè had the Night in the Town, and it was a fantastic blend of smokey and spicy! The food is also excellent. We had the steak entrée, as well as the pork tacos. Secret ingredient is definitely nutmeg, which I absolutely looooove, but my fiancé is not such a fan. So...again, just a matter of taste. But, all around, well cooked, beautiful presented, and warmly served. Wonderful, friendly, helpful and courteous customer service from seating (seat yourself) til leaving. Will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu and nightly entertainment options, not to mention a bringing our friends along, too! Limited outdoor seating also available.

A nice start for a an incongruous restaurant / bar /lounge in the middle of the more industrial part of Kakaʻako. Seems like it’s trying to find its identity. Its wine list had a selection of hidden gems, like the Fattorio Moretto Lambrusco sparkling dry red wine from Italy (cheers to Kermit Lynch) and big brand names that one would expect, but it was disturbing to see a few of the names & regions misspelled. Same thing for spellings / accents on the menu. Anyway. Definitely a long cocktail list & also has $$$ bottle service (?!). Food was good, that’s for sure. My ahi tatki well prepared, lightly seared, a modest portion, elegantly presented. I enjoyed the salad of fresh, shaved daikon and cucumber in a light soy sauce-based seasoning underneath the tuna. My partner’s salmon was also delicious; the flavours melded well, with its creamy sauce on top and sautéed summer squashes. Products were fresh, and flavour combinations were well thought out. Staff seemed young and inexperienced, but enthusiastic, kind and ready to serve. Live music, guitar and trombone duo, was playing the Sunday evening that we were there. Lovely outside patio seating, and thankfully, when there is recorded music being played, it’s not too loud, so it’s possible to talk. Parking can be tricky, unless you park in the parking garages in the area. It’ll be interesting how this place evolves. Visited early May 2024.

My party was the only ones in the restaurant for the majority of the time that we were there. The bartender/waiter was attentive when taking our orders and serving us. The food wasn't much to talk about. When we asked if we could have the bill split into individual checks for the party, the bartender/waiter made a backhanded comment about how we should have told him that in the beginning. Remember, we are a small party of 4 and we are the only party in an otherwise unbusy restaurant. So it shouldn't have been too much of a hassle to split the check so that each person was only paying for what they ordered. Then he had the nerve to add some bogus charges to our bills. First he charged me $3 more than what the other mixed drinks cost on the menu. He also added a $3.50 charge for using "fresh ingredients in the drink" without informing me there would be an extra charge for said drink when I initially ordered it. He also charged us for the chips and salsa that we said we didn't want, but he brought them out anyways. I knocked off 3 stars for the poor service and the bland food, but gave it 2 stars for the ambiance. At least I know not to ever go back, so thanks for that at least I guess.

Thought this place was really wonderful! Food was awesome, drinks were great, atmosphere was cool, but unfortunately the way the staff handled their own mistakes put a damper on how much we liked the place. We arrived when the restaurant was completely empty with no reservation, they sat us and said nothing. One of our meals got forgotten so we checked in on that and he let us know he put it in and it would only be 5 minutes. By that point we had only been there for like 30 minutes. Then, in the 5 minutes we were waiting, the host came up and told us we’d have to move tables inside which we didn’t love because of covid, but we especially didn’t love because our meal was forgotten and we’d be out of there already if not for that. we let her know that politely and she said she’d still have to move us. At this point there were probably only two other groups at the restaurant (which is pretty spacious so like???) but we were cool and said no problem. Then a THIRD person came up and asked us how we were doing and if we could please move. Her demeanor made us feel like they thought we were being difficult while we were pretty much just rolling with this very strange request. We just checked out 🤷🏻‍♀️ Then we go to the bathroom for like 5 min and as we’re leaving the customers who they were seating at our former table mean mugged us....... not really sure what happened there, but the restaurant was still like 80% empty so feels like they could have handled the situation without ruining our opinion of the place, but oh well. Oh and they gave one of us a pineapple drink when she ordered grapefruit juice... she’s allergic...

We just experienced THE WORST treatment we have ever had at this establishment.

If I didn’t know better I would say we just experienced flat out DISCRIMINATION and CLASSISM from the manager, MELISSA DIALLO.

We came in to get some food and drinks, after work, chatted it up with the male bartender, nothing wrong on our part, just talking story and sports. When all the sudden the manager comes over, pulls the bartender aside and when he came back, the whole energy changed and the bartender told us that we had been cut off drinks even though we were not behaving in any way out of line.

I know this place is a fancy-type place, and we do work construction and came straight from a hard day at work, but the way this manager looked down on us and basically ran us out of the place was unbelievable. We weren’t rowdy or disrespectful in the least, but the way that Ms Melissa treated the situation just does not sit well at all and was completely unprofessional for someone in the service industry.

Being that she is in the service industry and part of the working class, the completely abrasive manner that she handled and disrupted our service was outrageous.

I will be sure to tell everyone I know on this small island about this experience and treatment, and most definitely advise you to take your hard earned money elsewhere!

We can not support businesses that treat hard working individuals with racial profiling, discrimination and classism.

I will note that the bartenders are in no...
