There are no words to properly express how amazing this little gem of a shop is. We missed out on visiting them during their regular hours, but happened by total chance to catch them open this morning when we were heading out of Hot Springs back home to Baton Rouge.
Greg met us at the door with a warm robotic greeting. Trish and The Boss offered hilarious commentary while we browsed and ordered. Again, they weren't even supposed to be open today, but they were working on things and testing things, and treated us like friends instead of lost travelers! We ordered coffee and the waffle treat. Loved everything! The toys and games and gifts are unique and adorable. Then there were the fun robot games. We explored everything we could, and I still wish I could go right back and spend the whole day there.
100/100, would recommend. DO NOT MISS OUT on this place! It's warm and hilariously quirky, and you'll wish you were a robot too by the end just so you could stay here and hang with the gang.
Thank you Robo World, for giving us the cherry on top of the sundae that has been our family vacay! We can't wait...
Read moreWe had a blast at Robo World! The drinks were fun, the robots are hilarious, and the owner is just so cool, even the pre-teen loved chatting computer/robot/science with him. We had fun playing the games (the owner designed and developed them all himself!), messing with the "death ray", and the other wandering robots. Also, dude, the drinks are great! There is even a little children's area with a chalk board. We really enjoyed looking at all the cool knickknacks for sale around the shop. This is definitely a place we would visit on a regular basis if we lived in Hot Springs. We'll 100% be back every single time we pass through. The kids actually won't stop talking about it, and we've been in the car for 2...
Read moreThis was an extremely charming and clever novelty coffee shop! The Scifi motif is done incredibly well and the robots really make the place come alive (kids would LOVE it here). I also really appreciated the top knotch satire and humor!
The iced coffee with lavender honey and oatmilk I got was absolutely delicious (see the special menu) though I can't speak on treats but they looked good! The gift shop has tons of clever, high quality novelty items you wouldn't find in most novelty shops.
Lastly I talked with the proprieter and he was an extremely nice guy who seemed passionate about the store. If you're in Hot Springs please support him and his wife, they made a really special...
