Wow what a difference a year can make. Unsure what happened but the food quality and taste has changed dramatically, Not sure if they have switched kitchen staff, cooks, vendors or what but the food is barely edible. Was quite disappointed as family came into town wanting Chinese so we went since the last time I had ordered take out from Ming's it was hot, delicious and worthy of me raving about. This time, no. The service was very slow, one pleasant young woman that seemed scared or nervous but perhaps she knew about the food, unlike us. The appetizers were ok but the entrees and fried rice sides were not good at all. The vegetable lo mein used to be loaded with vegetables with noodles that tasted freshly made. This time the noodles were yellow, old and I could barely find two pieces of broccoli let along another vegetable. Family had beef with broccoli, sesame chicken and generals mix. Each meat was flavorless or completely covered in sauce that seemed to be from a bottle. My husband had so many whole peanuts on his dish, we couldn't even see the dish underneath them. Not sure what the issue is. Wishing they could some how improve things but it is so hard to find good help. I felt it necessary to write a review since our bill was over $100 with tip and I wanted others to be warned. i wish the owners and staff good luck and hope for...
Read moreI am flabbergasted at what my experience was today. My mother and I went to the MING and ordered lunch. We both ordered hot and sour soup and chicken and broccoli lunch to share. We got our food and we started eating the soup and immediately found it was not like it normally is and was way to spicy hot to even eat. I didn't want to be a person to complain but I kindly told the waitress the problem we had with the soup not being edible. She went to the boss and told him the problem and when she came back she said she couldn't take the soups off our receipts for whatever reason and then said she was told she could bring us egg drop soup to mix in with the hot and sour. We told her no we didn't want that we just wanted the soups removed from our bill. She said she couldn't do that. Then proceeded to bring us egg drop soup to supposedly mix with the hot and sour. And they were so full we wouldn't have been able to mix them together anyway! Why on earth couldn't they just remove the unedible soup from our bill? I just don't understand. Instead waste the egg drop soup and still be out of the money for that. Honestly I've had even more terrible experience at this restaurant in the past but normally pass it off because I love the food. This time I couldn't not leave a review. I will not be going back and I will let everyone I can know about my...
Read moreMy parents and I stopped for dinner after a hospital procedure. The restaurant is very wheel chair accessible. Even around the buffet tables. There was a good variety of dishes, something for everyone, from mild food to hot n spicy. My first trip up to the buffet I got a little bit of several different things including the veggie fried rice (which I found tasteless) and the lo-mein noodles (which were some of the best I've tasted). I had decided I wanted more noodles. They had just replenished them, so I was pretty excited to get super fresh ones. I was terribly disappointed. The noodles were so salty I couldn't eat them. My tongue felt as if it had been burned. I let the waitress know and they were removed immediately from the serving table. The service did leave something to be desired. We ordered 3 waters and hot tea. The waitress brought the drinks, then we didn't see her again until she brought the bill, which is when I told her about the noodles and asked for more water. While she gave us a carafe of hot tea, there was only enough tea for us to have about 3/4 cup in total (the have really big "tea cups". All the food on the buffet was hot and steaming. The only thing I missed that I wanted to try was the egg drop soup. I didn't see it until we were leaving. Something to go back to taste.
We will...
