Best Street Tacos (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

I've been wanting to support this local taco truck for ages, but my first and only experience was a total disaster. The quality of the food was horrible, and the name "Best Street Tacos" is an outright lie. ​We ordered two burritos with beef and al pastor meat. The pastor meat was over-the-top salty, which immediately made me question its freshness. It tasted like they tried to drown the flavor of old, stale meat in a huge amount of seasoning. ​The corn in a cup was equally offensive. It was flavorless, oily, and seemed to use cheap, imitation cheese. The texture of the "sauce" was just oil with some scattered pepper seeds. What a waste. As a first time patron, I ordered the fajita tacos and reiterated I wanted flour tortillas at least three times, and I get home and they're all corn. In addition to that, I reached out to them, will be dropping three of the four tacos off in the morning, in addition to the skimpy avocado slices they gave me (extra I paid for), and I will ensure my bank gets every dime back minus the one distasteful taco that I ate, as I contacted them and informed them of. My coworkers and I visited this quaint little red food truck tooked away in Midtown near work. It was one of the best food truck meals I've experienced. The meat was seasoned right and the gorditas bread was nice and crispy. The elote toppings were delicious but I would've preferred my corn charred a bit. I can probably request that next time.
