Bloom & Bee might look beautiful, however, NOT everything that looks good is good.
Got SICK🤢! I sent a request to City of Houston to check their restaurant. Inspection Found one fridge not working properly (were they have their tortellinis) and dish machine at the bar broken and not properly sanitizing glassware. 🤢 I just keep thinking on the dirty glasses and all the mouths that went through all those glasswares.
Try reaching out never answer, hotel front desk answer but told me they were gonna give me a call back. Never called me and had to called again told me again they were going to give me a call back. I had call later, made “case” about the issue, but haven’t heard back. I was trying to get my refund because I was throwing up at 5:30am next day and during the rest of the day. Literally sick sick! Until today they haven’t give me my refund or a call back and definitely won’t come back to this place.
I went with my friends on Feb 5th, at night. We arrived and set us a table. Amazing decoration and design of the entire restaurant.
Menu and ordering was quite difficult. The server took our order and took way too long for the food to come out. We wanted to order extra drinks while waiting for our food but not server at all. I stand up and went to the bar trying to order drinks. A manager told me he would take my order, I went to set down. He came and took the order, while server was gone.
The first food came out, looked nice. Ceviche Leche de tigre, Sushi, and brocollini. We eat and we were trying to order entrees however server disappeared again.
Ordering entree, ordered tortellinis with corn and they were very plane not salt no season at all, dish presentation was wack. I eat 3 but I had to returned them back. Which also took a long time. Ordered again some sea bass with tomato, the tomato sauce was extremely salty, I eat the fish because I wasn’t gonna wait another 45mins.
I’m just extremely disappointed on the service, food, and staff. Management should keep an eye every day on dish machines specially because these need to sanitize properly! Also fridges! Check temperatures it’s extremely important. Specially for a restaurant that has...
Read moreTo start, this is definitely an Instagram worthy spot. The food? Fell short. The service? I would give it 5 stars. Price? Too expensive for average food but for the ambiance, it's acceptable.
As soon as you pull up, the valet takes your car and gives you a ticket. you can validate your ticket with Bloom and Bee and it reduces parking from $18 to $5. You have to pay inside.
I came here for a friend's birthday. We were celebrating brunch and was wanting a spot where we can take cute pictures and enjoy the Sunday morning. I tried to get a noon reservation but they only had 10 a.m. available. Whenever I walked in, there were just a few tables. I would try calling in for reservation instead of doing it online like me. The hostess was able to seat us immediately and take us to the table. The dining area is smaller than I expected but the setup is gorgeous.
Our server was very nice. He brought out some healthy shots of avocado, carrot, cucumber, and something else. It was a great shot to clean your palate. Unfortunately, my Clumsy self knocked these over when moving my arm but the staff was able to clean it up quick and did not make it a big deal. I was a little embarrassed but they were very sweet.
I ordered the traditional benedict with the Canadian bacon. I don't know if they accidentally got my order wrong, because it looked like a slice of ham. The eggs was poached perfectly and the Hollandaise sauce needed a little bit more citrus. I had asparagus with roasted tomatoes and potatoes for the side and those were tasty! The potatoes were crispy and soft in the inside. The Benedict Was a little disappointing. It was just very average. Presentation was also lacking.
because it was my friend's birthday they gave us complimentary sorbet in a little cone! They were precious. You can definitely tasty champagne in the sorbet.
I'm giving this place three stars because it was beautiful and service was great and food was edible but nothing was amazing. Yelp is for people who are curious about the actual food, and this is not the best place to get that if you are big on flavor. If you are big on...
Read moreFebruary 23rd was an unforgettable night. I celebrated my birthday at Bloom & Bee. My reservation was at 8:00 pm. The closing time on a Tuesday night is 9:00pm. My Partner and I arrived 10-15 minutes late due to not knowing where the entrance was. I became frustrated knowing that we would only have 45 minutes to order and dine. When we arrived, Abel (hoping that’s the correct spelling) greeted us with a huge smile and was very welcoming and accommodating. He was in no rush to seat us. He asked if we would like to feel the temperature outside in case we wanted to sit on the patio. I requested to be seated indoors where the dining area’s decor is filled with pinks and floral designs. Abel (our waiter) was very attentive. He placed the menus on the table and gave us suggestions on drinks. He assured us that there was no rush and that we could take our time. Abel noticed my attempt to capture the perfect photo of my crafty cocktail. He rearranged the table setting and said,” there, now the photo will look much nicer”. When we asked if he would take a photo of us, he not only took the photo, but took many from several angles and looked happy to do it! At almost closing time, most servers would be rushing to take our order and get us out of there! He seemed so happy to be serving us. He gave me the impression that he was happy to be working. This is what most establishments lack; employees with a serving heart. When I placed my dessert order, I was not only given what I ordered, but surprised with a complimentary dessert and a candle! Abel was one of the best waiters I’ve ever met and I did not feel rushed at all that night. I write mostly about my customer service experience because I feel this is what matters the most to me. As for the food, it also gets 5 stars! They are very generous with the amount of crab in their crab cake. The cauliflower soup was delectable. We also ordered the scallops and tortellini which were very tasty! My partner is so picky and said,” we will definitely be...
