I am a professional in the O&G business here in Houston. Originally from New Orleans, I moved here after Katrina. If anything, I am a "Car Guy", been driving since I was 10 years old. I've owned about 50 cars, Corvettes, DeLorean, 300ZX's, M-B, BMW, Mustang, Porsches and a few junkers. I've enjoyed a few pleasant buying experiences in my lifetime along with a few root canal purchases. I was in the market for a new Sports car and narrowed it down to a C8 Corvette, a Porsche Boxster S and a Lotus Emira. After much internal struggling, as I like all three but cannot afford all three, I decided to visit Jared at the Woodlands after my initial meeting at the Post Oak shop. I was greeted with a smile and a coffee as we discussed the Emira and its qualities. After a thorough look-see, I decided on the "Classic" Colin Chapman colors of his racing cars, the BRG (British Racing Green) with Tan leather interior. But......the car I wanted was a "Special Order" from November 2024 and was on "hold" until the individual decided to take the car. That being said, I would have to wait until a final decision was reached. Alas, on the way home on I-45 South a call from Jared informed me that the buyer could not purchase the car and it was mine. Just 30 minutes after I left the dealership, the car was mine. Jared, being the consumate professional agreed to our price (cost plus TTL) and a date of September 30 was set. I left early from work and met Sarah in the finance office and all 3 of us sat down and I signed all paperwork. This experience at the Post Oak/Woodlands shops was the "Best" bar none. The dealerships are "First Class" in every respect and the staff are professional and courteous. I enjoyed every moment and time spent with Jared/Christian at Lotus was superb. Kudos to the whole team at both dealerships for their collective respect and kindness. I have made new friends and my life is a little better for it. Read moreI recently purchased a 2024 Bentley Continental Azure GT, and the overall experience has been disappointing for a brand and dealership of this stature.
Several issues arose after the purchase:
•A persistent chirping/rattling noise from the headliner, which undermines the quiet luxury expected in a Bentley. I've been to the dealership 5 times to pick-up the "repair", which has yet to be completed.
•The door handle coming off repeatedly for months before dealership could successfully repair.
•A steering wheel stitching defect that took over a month to resolve, creating unnecessary delays. Discovered one week after purchase.
•Issues with the paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic coating application, both of which fell short of the quality standards I anticipated.
•Additionally, the lack of a loaner vehicle during many of these prolonged service visits added to the inconvenience and diminished the overall experience.
•Multiple trips to pick up “repaired” vehicle only to find issues persist.
•Most recent pickup, fuel literally on 0, multiple new error messages blinking on car. Disregard for my time.
Since purchasing the vehicle in March of 2024, it has been in service for a total of 60+ days.
The GM Rick Canales has been unresponsive to my attempts at communication with him.
While the purchasing process was smooth and professional, the post-sale experience has not reflected the level of care or excellence expected from Bentley. These ongoing issues, coupled with numerous delays and service shortcomings, make it difficult to recommend this dealership or brand at this time.
