Quick Review - Excellent food with friendly service. Prices are overall reasonable but a bit higher than places outside downtown. Full Review Food - I haven't had an item here yet that wasn't delicious. From pupusas and empanadas to taco so far every time I eat here it is delicious and filling. The breakfast items are excellent and the lunch menu even better. Service - Friendly and courteous service. The owner puts an amazing old school service into everything. Staff is as awesome as the food is good. Atmosphere - there are three wall murals and a number of oil paintings done in a Latin style. The place is richly decorated and has a homey unique vibe to it. Final thoughts- excellent Mexican food, decent prices, friendly staff, and s.iling people with full bellies. Definitely recommend as a repeat customer. :)

This was my first time here. I ordered the food online because it had high reviews and the pictures of the food portions looked huge. I was extremely disappointed. I paid almost $15 for 2 quesadillas and a lemonade. What I ended up getting was 2 tacos and a tiny cup of lemonade that was so old, it was fermented. It literally smelled and tasted like rotten alcohol was added. When I tried calling the restaurant staff to inform them and if they could remake my food and bring a new fresh lemonade, they gave me attitude and acted like it was my fault. Instead of being helpful, they accused me of trying to get free food. I wasn't even asking for a refund. I definitely do not recommend.

Excellent friendly service the food was delicious I highly recommend the Birria tacos, I had tried them in other places and they always get too much cheese or too greasy or they don't have the right flavor but this one's have the perfect amount of cheese you can taste the cheese the meat it was delicious in the word three excuse me and what didn't make it to the picture cuz that's how delicious they were. I'm not from Houston I was traveling for a special event but definitely next time we come back to Houston we most likely going to go over there to the location cuz they're super good, thank you so much for the friendly service.
